Yes if you ride too much continuously like a tourer with constant speed of 70-80kmph then this oil is good for your bike.It will stick to the engine wall perfectly and second thing all synthetic oil have skinny nature so that is why they more helpful for the engine.
and I think 5W40 is perfect oil but it is hard to find in that case you can use Agrip 5W40 oil.Ride Safe & Ride Long-->

>Your bike has done 2000kms till date so you should still stick to normal mineral oil that is recommended 20w50.Start with semi synthetic oil at 3500kms put Motul 5100 oil which is semi synthetic oil
>Motul 300V is full synthetic where as Motul 5100 is semi synthetic oil
>Yes you can do this by telling them that don't change the oil I have my own engine oil with recommended grade for the bike as per owners manual suggested so at the time of oil change let me know I will give you that oil
P.S: If they sill pour the engine oil without letting you know then tell them that you will not pay for that oil strictly and if they don't agree then tell them that I don't wanna change oil.Ride Safe & Ride Long-->
