Yes , you can . They are completely miscible and chemically compatible. 100ml in a liter is too small to cause any feel-able difference in performance characteristics too . So no problem at all . I guess your bike takes 1.1 liter of motor oil at a time ?

can't really say the difference between them as i haven't used any synthetic. But motul is superior because of Easters in it.
And dont directly shift to full synthetic from mineral. First use semi synthetic for a while then do the switch.
And also wait at least 10k before using full synthetic.

You can try the motul 3100 20W50(Rs. 325).. a bit cheaper that 5100 grade.. but 3100 grade is also semi synth. but without ester...

                    • Engine Oil

I ride a Kawasaki Ninja 250R (3.6K on odo). Since my bike is due for a service, I was planning to switch to a semi-synthetic oil. Which oil should I go for?

                      • mineral oil

                        Hello friends
I would like to discuss the use of mineral oil when everybody wants to use synthetic oil.My points are
One of the beauty of two stroke was every time fresh engine oil was used.where as in four stroke same oil is used again and again.
we can not change the function of four stroke but instead of using synthetic oil, mineral oil can be used for lesser km say instead of changing syn.oil at 2000km ,change mineral oil at 1000km
one can argue syn. oil does not loose it viscosity so easily. Is the oil about viscosity only.
I am ready to be proven wrong

900ml bottle or 1 liter ? Yes , oil dealers offer discounts on motul and others and sometimes there are discount coupons inside the label etc too . Price is right , I too got it for around same 210 Rs for 1 lit pack 2 months back , don't worry .

you are correct my friend. But some really good synthetic oils gives outstanding protection.
Motul 300v is one of that kinda oil, its formulated with easters which sticks to all metal parts (even if the engine & oil pump is not running) and it prevents engine wearing by 100%. Because most of the engine damage happens due to cold starts (because oil flows down to oil sump) and engine runs almost dry for first few revs. This is where mineral oils fails.
Info gathered from some non biased web page (i think it was a blog) which I'm not able to recall.

                              thank you pinaki sir..
today filled that 300020w40 in my fathers 4s champion..but not much difference in anything.earlier was using mobil1 .whether motul not suitable for 100 c.c bikes like this?which one is better for 4 s champion?he really like it very much, thats why ridden it for above 15 years..and continuing..

                              now another confusion..
here in my city motul 7100 20w50 and 300 v are only available in 20w50 grade.
atlast a lot of search, found motul 3000 15w50 in enfield show room, which will cost 280 per litre.one more thing is its coming in a big motul can realy like a tar can. they told me that its coming directly from enfield company.also happened to know that they are using only mineral oil for enfield..
my doubt is whats the differance between 300020w50 and 15w50?? can i exept performance from 300015w50 similar to 5100 ss oil ?
its worth it for this 280rupees?..?

this one is for my pulsar 180 ug4 not for 4s champion.

15w50 is for colder climates and 20w50 for relatively warmer. but it does'nt makes difference in most of the parts of India where winter are not usually that chiller. Like here in my area Winters are usually 15-20 degrees in morning and that too lasts for early morning hours.
