The SparX that I have now has a D-ring strap. High end lid's sport these mechanism's as they are very reliable and dont snap in a crash. The tiny red ribbon is to loosen the strap only and to unbuckle your helmet completely you still need to manually remove it. There are no plastic teeth for different locking levels on my SparX. Just a plain strap with padding and a D-ring.

What you are referring to was my LS2 and not the SparX. LS2 did not have a D-ring strap. It had a plastic locking mechanism which clicked into the latch.Originally posted by rdna View Post

The D ring straps are found in all high end helmets. One more use of strap - The D rings slide in to the helmet lock found in sports bike e.g. the R15 comes with the helmet lock below the seat where you can slide the D rings in to it and close the seat so the helmet is locked and secure.Originally posted by n_aditya View PostWhat you are referring to was my LS2 and not the SparX. although I don't think you would put your expensive high end helmet in the helmet lock on the bike , exposing it to the friendly people of our country ...

XL ix the last size available in India for any helmet..whether its local isi or studds vega or value for money imported helmets like cross ls2.Go to laxmi auto J.m. road besides adidas showroom. They r the wholesalers of cross ls2.They can arrange for ur helmet if u ask them.Originally posted by abhifusion View PostI wand to replace my Daijya with LS2 (Currently best VFM ) but m skeptical about quality of LS2 Dragon , as LS2 Dragon (FF301) is not mentioned on LS2's website ... (LS2 Helmets) ... FF350 is from what I have read entry level helmet , (Source: LS2 HELMETS part 1: FF350, FF366, MX433V - full face & motard - Motorcycle Philippines - The #1 Motoring Enthusiast Community in the Country)
So I have decided to go for FF366 model , but its XL size does not fit me (FF350 L = FF366 XL size) , and Probiker dude (Pune) dont seem to stock XXL size ... Can anybody who have bought FF366 model can confirm whether XXL size is available in India or not ??

What was the quoted price for it ?? Its selling for 3800 - 5% Discount here for the orange black n white colored one... I want this one :Originally posted by anirudh fz1 View Postthe ls2 dragon FF301 seems to be a vega model to cater to the low end segment. so i think its better to spend extra for ff350 only,
plus-that philipino site mentions the rate as 2500 rs .look like the indian dealers r ripping us guys off.( what language are they writing in ,did i hear someone fool say that the pinoys were taking away the bpo jobs,)
ps - i have seen a lagarto 2 in xl in balaji helmet place ,no xxl
, which isnt available here , and according to dealer lagarto2 is not going to come in future shipments
You are right , I checked out that shop , XL is the last size , but surprisingly their F366 Shadow XL fits me ! dunno wht was wrong wid probikers ShadowOriginally posted by vineetg84 View PostXL ix the last size available in India for any helmet..whether its local isi or studds vega or value for money imported helmets like cross ls2.Go to laxmi auto J.m. road besides adidas showroom. They r the wholesalers of cross ls2.They can arrange for ur helmet if u ask them.

.If u buy a bravia lcd tv from sony showroom it will obviously be more costly than any local shop. But u`ll be getting better after sales service from the showroom.

100rs 200rs difference is bound to be there in different shops.I remember when i bought my first ls2 cartoon. There was 100 200 rs difference in all the 3 main shops i had visited.Like champion sports pro bikers and the laxmi auto`s.It was the customer experience which was pleasant in laxmi auto`s as they were polite and showed me all helmets without a fuss.Hence, i bought from there.and got a 5 % discount as well

The new range of low price Cross helmets are now available. They cost below 2k. You can make out the difference from the higher end ones by seeing the padding inside. The other option is MPA AGV which is around 2k as well.Originally posted by ang View PostAny good helmet recommendations around 2.5k? for a black 220.

Dear Friends
i was using a helmet which was purchased 6 months ago with my GS150r.
this morning it fallen on steps and is visor broken, i thought i can change it for 70 bucks, when i looked the helmet i shocked there is a crack on helmet where at middle top of forehead.
