Hmmm..So flow my creative juices were not good enough, turn around is is not even upto my liking, i feel i have to rely on united graphics now..

I'm liking the rear look. so simple... matt black and simple white lines. Pls make the side flames a little less complex and go for wider flames than many thinner ones.

Or even, just go for a single patch / line that sort of makes a round on the helmet with breaks where needed and changing its width - thinner at the front and wider at the rear... saw it on some helmet.

Some links for u - any simple stuff like those would be great... modify the design to suit your helmet's mound.

Well till last night I was left with just one option - Vega helmets - as my budget was tiny 1200-1500/- But late last night my cousin Sis came home with her Husband.. Discussed this thing with them that m guying an helmet tomorrow..just casually.. And ended up with sis's husband's best friend's contact number. He owns an agency.. god knows what's the name.. But believe it or not.. I was offered this helmet for half price..straight 50% discount That's y I paid only 1000 bucks for this one while the Original price being 2000 Rs.

If I had to buy one properly from a shop, other options I checked were an AGV for 2750/- Vega boolean for 1950/-(wasn't fitting well to my broad head) Daijya for 5600/-(way way out of my budget)

One of the closest to this one was from Index for 2000/-(fitting was fine..but design wasn't that gr8 also the fit n finish wasn't as good as this one)

He also showed me one helmet costing 52000/- I mean what the ****..52000/- I think it was AGV or Arai.. not sure..

He said this helmet is a copy of what Rossi uses/used to wear.. Is it ture..? Coz i dunno.. Mere liye toh bas fitting and price is imp...


And bout those GPR gloves.. I got those as a price in a competition.. anyone knows what's the price of those gloves? Coz I hav no idea.. But m happy..

No yaar.. that's the only thing to check out.. Actually It's just today I got it.. n haven't tested it in the night..
With my past experiences I was insisting him to give me a plain visor fitted but he just didnt want to listen anything.. He said this visor is not fully tinted and is very lightly tinted so wont have any prob at night...He said it's imported as the helmet itself is singapore imported..

Though m sure I'll sooner or later will have to rush to his agency again to get the visor changed to a plain one..

@caravikiran: Thanks for letting me try your Vega. I have decided to buy it&have ordered it from BikingTerminal. I tried telling him its available for lesser at Balaji Helmets Bangalore, but the bugger says they price them higher&as it is prices have gone up. I expect him to charge me around 2500-2600 for the matt. Lets see, I'll get to know in a couple of days!

@snehmads: Thanks a lot for the info on the SparX S-07 helmet buddy. I really loved it but I can't afford it as of now as I'm saving up for buying riding gear next month from Cramster. That is for sure my next helmet, when&if I buy the Ninja 250!

Helmet upkeep

Pigeon droppings have a strong uric acid % (varies with their diet ) & can cause corrosive action on the helmets. When I was pulling out from the shade of a tree, a pigeon carpet bombs me. Back home, I observed that the dropping left a corrosive trail on the laminate (is that a laminate film on top of the helmet decals?), and a bleached patch on my jacket.
So wash / wipe immediate.

The Performance Racing store seems to be constantly closed @ Tardeo. Anybody knows whats the reason?

Also any feedback about Bachoo Motors?? They've got a huge stock of helmets... but hows their pricing and selection?

Hey all you Vega Boolean users over there, have you faced any peeling off of the matt black paint? Its a rubbery kind of thing&quite a lot has peeled off on the sides (the parts that we remove for changing the visor). I'm considering either asking for a warranty replacement for the side panels, or getting them changed. The shopkeeper tells me it comes for 100 pair. Please share your views.
