Frankly, there is nothing better than to feel the product in your hands and wear it before buying something. Specially when size is a concern. Buy from flipkart if there is no other option for you. They have a good return policy, should things go south. Do let us know what you decide

This is a long term review about my Kranos Imola Casino Born2Win Helmet. I'm not posting pictures as I have already uploaded quite a few ... can be found in the previous pages (With and without the Iridium visor).

I bought this helmet as I wanted to upgrade from my Studds Scorpion (King) as it was a 'L' and I fit a 'M' or 'S' depending on the brand.

It costed me 375/- and I bought a rainbow Iridium visor worht 750/-. It has all the necessary DOT and EC certifications, but weighing in at 1350 gms is a very light helmet. The vendors I bought it from also provided me with the Chin curtain that comes with MT Blade series.

It is very flashy and I get comments ranging from ... that is a ridiculously stupid helmet .. to ... bhaiyya racing helmet hai kya. I get the looks when I'm carrying this into office ... call it midlife crisis if you may, but its a validation I like. Also, it adds +5 hp to my bike too .. jk. The Iridium visor is risky at night ... when the street is well lit you can see out of it ... but on that Gachibowli to Hitech city there are a lot of Idiot heavy vehicles which have no tail lights and I can't spot them until my light hits them.

It beds in a couple of weeks ... for my head size it turned into slightly less than one size up. I do fit in the right way though I'd liked a snugger fit... I got a weird head I guess. It doesn't move at high speeds. It has a D-ring whose positioning hat I really am not a big fan of. I would have loved it a little lower as I need to remove a glove to operate. The foam is definitely firm and better than my Studds.

The Achilles heel is wind protection ... This is a very noisy helmet. It lets so much air in ... not only from the front vents but also from the bottom. The lateral wind will not be stopped by the chin curtain either. With the chin curtain, it is very sharp sound while it is kind of muffled if I remove it. I tried blocking the front vents to no avail.
Above speeds of 50-60 you can really hear the noise and I'm most of the time North of 50kmph.

Don't consider just this against the helmet as otherwise it is a quality product. Would I buy it again .. yes, it is a great city helmet of the price. On highways, when I'm in the 100s the Arai also is just as noisy if not slightly less than this helmet. But for the price point and those who might not be able to pay much for Helmet this is a good choice.

I'm trying to see if I can procure a Windjammer or similar product. Personally, I'd want to build a foam base ... but finding the foam, cutting and stitching is too much work with my job and other stuff in life. If you guys where I can get a Windjammer .... please let me know.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

                Just a quick question
which of the mt series helmet is best?
Revenge ? Blade? Optimus ? Axis?
Budget is like 6k and little higher could be bearable. 😀

Actually it is darker than i thought. In fact it is a good thing considering the Indian summers.

But i have read that the internal visor become loose after using a few times?
And does all mt blade helmets are of same features just the sticker design being different?

I have not used it so can't comment on the durability. I have seen them in person and I he quality seemed excellent. Answer to the second question is that they all are same and the difference is just the designs.

If you want the best then go for Revenge but it will cost you over 9k.
                            Otherwise go for Blade.

                              Any major difference between both?
If yes, then i would definitely go for it.😄

I'm sorry I confused Matrix with Revenge. Revenge is cheaper. Matrix has a fibreglass shell and is a track spec helmet.
Between Revenge and Blade the only major difference I found is of internal visor. Otherwise both are equally good.
