Which model was it? Did it have CE protectors? Not the soft ones. I've only seen the T-Dyno jacket for less than 10k.

@animeher: That was a personal classified sale without any taxes attached and no import duties paid on it. It was also purchased as a single piece from outside India.

Considering these things, your instance cannot be used as a benchmark for Indian market price comparison. Please let me know if similar A* jackets can be imported commercially and be sold for 6K (profit included). You could take 100 nos as a start.

Not perhaps, surely not! But I gave my example to show that distressed sales are there, and we have to keep the eyes open for such sales. For a guy who is searching for jackets with keenness to buy and not just casual browsing, this sort of thing will be great! That time, hardly anyone from xbhp paid attention. I am not blaming or anything, pls don't misunderstand. That jacket is long sold, so I don't have any emotions with it I am saying this for benefit of brotherhood, that you can find better deals by individuals than buy professional importers, and if and when you find them, jump on them!

P.S: Kirosh_03 is using the same on his LEH trip,i don't think they are facing any problem,that too on a Karizma..

The only bike that I have had a problem with wearing the bionic ones is the FZ...have not had any issue with The Pee's the RTR, and the ZMA, and the R15

I guess it is also impacted by the riding stance and the built one has... I know Inder is hell happy to move his butt away from the seat everytime he sees a bend :P and pull the bike down using the knee.... so maybe thats why it does make sense to him!

A few examples i can give are of MG(ZiMA), Motor(P200) and Anup(HH Ambition)..
