I too saw the pair at Orion motors, however I remember the cheapest of shoes available there were for Rs 7500. So I guess maybe Avin is mistaken on the prices. I will be going there this weekend, will check again.

Why dont you guys introduce better pairs of gloves for city riding, something similar to the set you had on a closeout sale last year for 1300 bucks. I am using that and want a replacement. The current pair that is available for Rs 850 is too flimsy & the others for Rs 2500+ are a bit too much for city use.

Ohh man i knw tht shop, dissapointment ka baap hai woh dukaan and moreso the owner/caretakers are clueless. just opposite to tht is AA helmets which is a gr8 shop thats is where i bought my lid from...

tonight...i mean yesterday nite i went to CRASH BOOM BANG..

Its one of DSG dealer in MUMBAI as per thier site ( www.planetdsg.com)

Address is as below

. Crash Boom Bang, Shop No.1, Jewel Milan Building, 30th Road, Pali Naka, Opp. Totos Pub, Bandra West.

To my opinion the shop is too bad..Only 2-3 jackets of DSG and they are overpriced as compared to the price given in the site itself

For DSG spike jacket red one ,he was asking 6000 bugs ( site states 5250 ).

So i decided to fly back,not even asked for the gloves.

i think its a worth visit to DSG shop pune for fair price and decent collection.Any comments ?

How is this AXO ASSEN WATERPROOF JACKET ??

To my opinion the shop is too bad..Only 2-3 jackets of DSG and they are overpriced as compared to the price given in the site itself

As for the tankbag, I am using the big Mustang tank bag for 1-2 years. Quality is good, and the storage capacity is HUGE. Specially, the straps to hang the tankbag on your shoulders come in real handy. Cramster stuff though good in quality didn't appeal to me due to high cost. This mustang tank bag is perfect VFM for any tourer or even a trip to supermarket. Go for it!

Cello tape and Scotch tape is same??? Oh pls guys. Atleast go to the stationary store and see for your self.

SCOTCH is 3m brand, and they sell cello tape under this brand. BUT, scotch tape is different. Cello tape leaves lot of residue underneath, you wouldn't want to stick it to your bike, where it may peel off the color or leave the gum behind. Scotch tape peels off very easily, leaving nothing behind. So tank is as new after removal of the tape. PLS go for scotch tape and not cello tape. Price difference is there, but it is justified.

From what I saw on the web, this seems to be popular. Too bad they (studds??) have stopped producing it. I will see if I can get some time to hunt around on JC rd and will update if I find it.

Anybody knows the official Studds dealer in Bangalore? Will check with them if they have any stock left or if the bag is replaced by another model.

Also what is a tried and trusted place where I can check for this type of riding gear...
