    • Gloves

I will be riding early mornings sometimes, to work and on weekends. It tends to get chilly and after a while its really difficult to control the brake/clutch levers with numb fingers.
I need basic gloves, these will be used maybe 2/3 times in a month for a 30-45min (max) ride. I saw some very basic ones for 350/- etc.
Are these good and will they serve my purpose? I dont want to keep changing every 3 months due to bad stitching.
Since my use wont be much I dont want to spend too much. Please advise.
      Any recommended shops in Bangalore?

      Thanks,
      Beo

If you want some protection also with wind shielding .. please look at the link in post http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post146967.
These are pretty basic ones with Ok protection for knuckles. MRP for these Gloves is 850 as per the DSG site and you can fine these at Orion Motors(Yamaha Showroom oppt. to Forum - quoted 850) and Balaji Helmet Palace(but he quoted 905 first and then came to 850 when we inquired about these).
I personally liked these as these gloved didn't look odd, bulky or filmsy. Very sober and thin so that you can feel bike more than the leather

        • Looking for Nivia Knee Guards

          Hi Guys,
I have been looking in vain for Nivia Knee guards in Pune for almost 3 months now. Have visited every freaking sport shop to realize none of them keep them anymore. The ones I own, have been scrapped to the core. Taking inspiration from Kenny Roberts I have tried taping them to make them last longer but as you can imagine the taped guards doesn't hold for long once u get your knee down So I would really appreciate if you guys can help me out here. Thanks a ton. Here is a pic of my "taped knee guards" to give you an idea of my dire situation

                  • @BANDHAV- This friend of mine just got his Canon DSLR last week. So now its just a matter of fixing a day for the shoot. If our plans materialize, you should be able to see the pics by next week Till then let me see if I can find this lavasa video my friends had shot about 4 months ago.

@ terminatorpaul- Thanks. I shot the video using my friend's N91 mobile cam. I fitted the mobile phone between the helmet jawline and my chin and with the wiser closed of course. The gap between my nose and the helmet jawline (after i wore the helmet) was just enough to fit the phone and balance it with my chin.

I had the done the exact same thing with the same phone two years back, when I took a video of P180 with K+N acceleration. It doesn't take good pics but videos come out good. Next best thing to a tank cam I guess. Oh BTW, great VDO.
