    Hello,
Please suggest a full Mesh summer riding jacket with adequate protection in it . Planning to spend 5~6 K for the jacket . Good ventilation is must as I have to face Delhi's summmer where temperature touches 48s .

Yeah. The price is 10K. But from what I have seen, it has had some upgrades,
            1. It now comes with perforated leather in the elbow region where as before it had textile.
            2. The back protector is now CE rated. In the older ones, it had a foam pad with an option to upgrade to CE protectors.

Any idea how's the review of Tarmac Tour riding boots? Available here in Mumbai at Bachoo Motors. Thinking of picking up a pair. A review by someone will help a lot. Thanks.!

Review from my ~7000 kms use of the Zeus Highway Rider Gloves, i'd say please, DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT buy it. I used it on my recent South India tour from which I returned yesterday.
I used it in sunny, rainy and cold during my trip. Although I don't expect this gloves to be waterproof, it should not have leaked its black color/dye. My palm was black in color when I removed the glove. And mind you, this was not a new pair, I had bought it and am using it since March this year.

One more, the Zeus All Terrain Jacket, it has "WaterProof" written inside it. It is not waterproof.

I'll write a detailed review in a day or two.
                      Regards,

i had checked them out personally. mind you those full length racing boots.
first look and feel is good. but thought they are not naturally curved for aggressive sport bike riding position so dont know how will it fair that way.
one more thing is they are not perforated. so waterproof but non breathable.
i especially liked the white pair.

                        • Need help on jackets

Brothers it has been a while for me since i upgraded my gear and i want to buy a riding jacket now.

My budget is low at around 7000 maximum and i am looking for a jacket with back support because i have some lower back problems due to a previous accident.

So please suggest me a possibly good enough jacket for i am not a frequent highway tourer and also give me some pointors about the spartan SPG Helios.

Please suggest me some good alternatives to spartan too keeping mind of the back support

thanks i am waiting for replies guys it's all on you!!

Spg helios is. Good jacket.. It has complete front and back mesh panels, and cordura on arms and shoulders.. Very good knox armour on shoulders and elbows as well..

Back protector is a dual density foam pad, and it seems it would provide reasonable protection in the unortunate event of a spill.. I have had the misfortune to test the elbow guards on one occassion, although fell only doing 20kmph, on a slippery rainy road, i felt the protector in action, and escaped with no injury..

But your biggest concern of back support is not addressed in this one.. Overall a good summer jacket suitable for hot and humid mumbai..

                                Hope this helps..

I am not sure if any jackets available provide back 'support' as such.. Maybe the seniors will be able to help with that.

                                Cheers!
