If you mean crashguards for your bike, then this is COMPLETELY off-topic. The discussion is only about riding gear for riders. I suggest you ask in some other thread - preferrably the FZ16 ownership thread.Originally posted by Mindgrinder View Postok i have posted this question in FZ 16 thread too but i think i will get a better opinion here, so let me know.

Swiggy Mayhem!
We're trying to start an initiative where we're gathering enough photos or videos
of erratic Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats riders across all cities so we can cast a spotlight
on this issue and try and sort it out. If you video-record as you ride, or have a
dash-cam in your car, or can take SAFELY photographs of instances where these riders
are creating a nuisance by riding recklessly on the roads, PLEASE share the same with
us on the thread above. Appreciate it!

DSG Ark/NRP3 review.
Used them for the first time this morning.Originally posted by 46wannabe View Post
Quite comfortable to wear. I have a city-style glove too. And I must say when wearing a jacket, a gauntlet style glove proves more comfortable. Dont' know how, but just my opinion. Doesn't take long to get used to.
The fitting is a tad bit weird on the palm side just below the fingers. But its ok.
Oh and I was out and wearing them continuously for around 4 and a half hours. When I got back home, I had a little black fibrous residue on my fingers.(maybe it will stop once it breaks in.) But its really nothing I'd worry about. After all, I always wash my hands after a ride.
Overall, good enough for the price. Long term use is yet to be seen. I'd give it 3.5 stars out of 5.Last edited by 46wannabe; 02-15-2009, 06:04 PM.10 Commandments:

My new riding gear!
Folks,
I got my riging gear from USA (my friend got it for me) 3 months of waiting has finally come to an END
The following are the one's
Nasty Leather Jacket (From SPIDI)

KBC HERO Helmet

Alpinestart Alloy Gloves

Shift Shift Racing Enforcer Knee/Shin Guards

Got all these stuff ordered from
Motorcycle Superstore - Motorcycle Accessories and Motorcycle Gear
Got a good deal on all the products
Though the purchase has left a deep hole (20 grands) I think nothing can match SAFETY.
Started using them since yesterday for my daily commute!

Joey what is the basic difference between ark, primal & Vector except for price & looks?
Is it the quality of leather?& if so which 1 is better?
Also as u knw calvin's joe rocket gloves are in a mess within a year of normal use.so what would be an average life of these ones?sigpic

Great!Originally posted by Enthusiast View PostThanks "46wannabe;166983"
I ride 7 month old R15

^^Thats a tough question for me bro! But here's what I have to say:
The main difference between the Ark and the Vector is the external design. If you check the pics, there's quite a noticeable difference between the gauntlet area of the two. As for the Primal, its been an old model. I suggest you check the reviews or ask someone here who has been using it for a long time. Apart from the above, I guess since they are of the same make and broadly within the same price bracket, all 3 of the products should have a similar life-span.
As regards the durability. Daily use will obviously take a toll on the DSGs considering the quality, though very good for the price, is a far cry from AStars and Joe Rockets. Only time will help me give you a better answer bro!
Bottom line is the life of any safety gear depends solely on the extent of use, how you use it and of course how you take care of it.Last edited by 46wannabe; 02-17-2009, 03:48 PM.10 Commandments:

KBC Hero Helmet
Aryan - the paint quality, graphics is top notch. Fit & finish could be better (I see small gaps on top where there is a vent for Air Circulation)Originally posted by Aryan View PostThat KBC Hero lid is lovely. At one time I really wanted to get it. How is the fit and finish?
I love the graphics on it.
The best part that I liked is the fabric quality used inside the helmet, its really soft & feels good.
The -ve aspect is that its light in color so sure will get dirty soon
This helmet comes with Clear lid/visor, i have ordered dark tiinted!Last edited by Enthusiast; 02-17-2009, 03:50 PM.1) 1999 Suzuki Samurai
