@All: I was interested in buying the Cramster Summer Mesh Touring jacket which was priced at Rs.4600 earlier. Now, since they are coming out with a new range, they have removed it from the site. However, I have written to them&they seem to be having one piece left of my size&color. The new jacket will be priced above Rs.5200, confirmed. They say that the new mesh model will be launched in about 2 months. Now the golden question-Should I buy this last piece? I'm a bit apprehensive as it may be damaged!

@Mindgrinder
Im using those summer gloves and they are fine for city riding. Wear it everyday to college.
+ves: Knuckle protection is comfy and the mesh lining at the side of the fingers keep your hands cool.
-ves: The palm area doesn't give a good feel of the throttle but you will get used to it. No wrist protection.
If you do try those out then I would suggest that you put on one size smaller as well just to check if the fitting is good. You could get those motocross type of gloves as well which have mesh construction but protection is close to nil.

Need pics of the DSG Mesh Jacket
I am planning to go for the DSG Maze or Spike jacket soon, but the Maze is not listed on the site of DSG. If someone is using the jacket, please post the pics so that I can make a choice. Also, a comparo between the two would be really good.
PS: Try uploading on xBhp server, as the pics on Flickr, ImageShack, etc. are not opening on my system...Last edited by diffuser911; 02-20-2009, 12:16 PM.

@diffuser - I was in Orion motors (a Bangalore Yamaha showroom of notorious fame) yest, they are distributors for DSG. I checked out the jackets yest, the prices are 5250 (the spike jacket listed on the site) and 5999 (the new one - Maze if I am not mistaken). The Maze felt like it was a better bet, thats my 2 cents. Will definitely be picking up one once I change my ride.
@ others- Correct me if I am wrong but the Maze is the one that is shown on the new DSG print ads. It has some noticable shape on the lower back, difficult to explain in words.
For all the guys who thought Orion was overpricing the DSG stuff (I was one such person, I vaguely remember someone posting it on xbhp) they are giving it at the same price as the website.

Thanks Neil. I would love to see a pic of the Maze, other than the ad pic. I guess no one has the jacket on xBhp yet.Originally posted by neil.jericho View Post@diffuser - I was in Orion motors (a Bangalore Yamaha showroom of notorious fame) yest, they are distributors for DSG. Please do Inder bhai...seen the Spike, but seems it is too warm for summer touring. Maze seems to be OK, but only one ad pic of that seen till now and upar se DSG doesn't list it on the site. I guess they are pairing up with a dealer to supply in the Eastern region. The sooner, the better.Originally posted by inder.cool View PostDude...i can post pictures of the Maze as well the spike jacket..!! But, it wud b possible only tommorow..!!

Hmm Maze is a good option between the Maze and the Spike...and the price difference is also not that much...Spike costs 5,250/- and Maze costs 5,500/- at the DSG store in Pune..!! Rest of the places i dont know...but think it wud be the same..
