I had checked out the stuff at Orion last sunday. Wrt the 850 buck gloves, I wasnt very happy with it. It should be adequate for day to day use but I didnt get a feeling that it would provide much protection in case of a fall. Also the thinness of the gloves is quite evident. I use the DSG gloves that were on the clearance sale a few months back (for 1300 bucks) and am very happy with that. Its much thicker and I feel that it would offer much more protection in case of a fall (the knuckle protection is much harder in this). Unfortuanately its a discontinued model. Actually theres a big gap in the market, cause the next set of available gloves are the Ark for 2600 bucks which some might feel is a bit of an overkill for daily use (At least my bro felt so). Would recommend the Ark anyday over the mesh.
thnx for the reply actually should i wait for there new collection or get AFK's from that link?

    • @ Mindgrinder do you know your exact size if you are ordering it online ? Have you tried out the AFK's here ? The Alpinestars might be a better buy if you get the right size but personally I feel that if you can try out the DSG here & get a pair with the right feel & size then theres nothing like it.

Alpinestars Maze gloves are for Rs 3750 & not Rs 5999.

DSG Maze Jacket which coincidentally has the same name "Maze" is for Rs 5999.

Please double check with Orion Motors tomorrow. We will also consult with them in case there has been any miscommunication.

Would look good on your bike, too. If I go for it, I will be riding around in a spaghetti of colors. Black-yellow bike, black-red lid, and a silver-black jacket. Just needs a little blue, so the gloves will do it.

PS: Thanks for the feedback Pranay; will go for the Maze when they have the black-red.

What I meant is the DSG Maze jacket (which is what we have been talking about over the last few pages) is available at Orion for 5999 bucks. Maybe there was some ambiguity in my posts, apologies.

Now that youre here I hope you could clarify a doubt - the DSG Maze retails for 5999 bucks in Orion while different posts over the last few pages have given the prices as 5500 (in DSG, Pune) and 5700(in Bombay). Will it be put up on your site anytime soon ? If I want to buy it online what will be the total price (including transporting to Blore) ?

                • well finally got the Breezer , and Alpinestars knee guards, did over 850 kms over the weekend using these ,
Cramster breezer is far better than DSG Nero. th build quality is also better, the DSG Zippers started breaking imm after the first wash.have good 2 many bad reviews about DSG now.
                  Best for mumbai/Maharshtra weather conditions.
Aprilia RS 125 or Honda CB400 Vtec ..... which one will it be ??? I think its gonna be NINJA ZX 6R :-)

                    • Had a crash yesterday.... I was fully geared, so escaped without a scratch or muscle pull. The alpinestars reflex knee guards are the best.... the left guard took the full stress of my fall... the jeans got torn... the guard got loads of scratches and the plastic on it melted at some parts as I was sliding on the road... still it did not crack... it saved my left leg. I dont know how many scratches I would have had on my knees.... or if my knee cap would have displaced or something.
Knee guards are a must !!
