Are there more options available than Proteus? Also, does anyone know if Rynox Raid would be good in summers as I am more inclined towards that?

      Thanks!
I am using this pant from figo.. The construction is nice and its mesh finish.

          Check this link.

Riding Gloves, TWISTER - Touring Gloves

I am in bangalore. We dont have severe winters but found them good during cold windy nights.

One more reason why I chose them over flux was that they are longer hence cover some part of wrist as well.

You could consider Dsg Revive. I have been using it for 3 days now... 40C temperatures and my palms are dry as ever.

I am also using twister gloves, they are good and comfortable but in peak traffic if your palms get sweaty gets a little uncomfortable, also after daily use since 6-7 months, the velcro fastening is a little loose and you have to really pull hard to tighten the strap otherwise a great deal when i bought it for 1.7k

Do not go for Mesh Riding pants, as riding pants are directly worn over skin/ undergarment. When you ride alot of dust goes through the mesh and gets stuck on the skin and its pretty unhygenic. Riding Jackets are good as we wear it over a tshirt.

You may have a look at the Rynox Advento Pant. It has a huge Mesh Panel which can be closed when required (when going through a really dusty patch).
Comes with Knox Leg Protector (Not Knee. Its a Leg= Knee+ Shin Protector by Knox).
Comes with a Knox Hip Protector. Thermal liner and a external Raim pant with refelectivity.

It is way better than the Proteus in terms of protection and a throughtful construction.

                Hope this helps.

Check of the Rynox Shield Pro gloves. A good leather glove with mesh to provide ventilation. Good part is that the palm side is also complete leather so better protection.

I have been using it almost since a year very comfortable in city commutes. But since it has mesh will not recommend it in cold climatic condition.

                    TBG Street gloves
I just bought a pair and this is my initial review after a few days of usage.
The quality and fit is very good, the glove fits snug around the hand.
The protection provided with the Knox scaphoid protectors, carbon fiber knuckles & inserts is top notch.
The touch screen pad on the right hand finger and thumb doesn't work with my phone, maybe because I have a tempered screen on.
The gloves haven't been broken in yet and hence feel slightly uncomfortable on longer rides.
From what I've heard, once they break in they'll be like second skin.
The only gripe I have till now is the visor cleaner which is integrated on the left hand thumb. Some part of the rubber visor sticks out inside the glove and pokes the palm. I talked to Let's Gear Up about it and was told to cut the sticking out portion with scissors.
On cutting off the protruding part, it no more hurts the palm. But I still feel that when you're shelling out 3.5k then this is something that should be taken care of from manufacturing end.

Haven't heard of that brand, my ignorance maybe . Also tried to search their website but didn't find anything. Could you please help me with their website or any store in New Delhi where I can check that.

Thanks mate, that's a good point. Never thought of that. Advento is surely a good option but a bit out of my budget, seems like I need to save more for it

Bro, If the Advento Pant is out of budget, the go ahead and purchase the Rynox Raid Pants !
There is no other pant out there providing armors that protect your entire knee and shin. Icing on the cake is that they are KNOX armors

                        It comes with airvents also.

                          1. DSG Evo
                          2. Spartan Ascimitar Transition
                          3. Cramster Breezer 2.0
                          4. Spartan Scimitar Strike
                          5. DSG Nero

My problems start here - I am not being able to decide as to which would have the best insulating and keep dry capabilities. Every site says bla bla bla however sometimes the reality is totally different. The last thing I want is spend the money on something which is said to be waterproof and is not.

Also, my glove budget is about 2 - 3 K. Possible we could get a good pair of waterproof and insulated gloves within this budget ?

I need to buy in Delhi so a few stores would be helpful. I know Ryderz Planet at Ghitorni, Chopra Automobiles and Bachoo Motors in KB. Any others would be really helpful.
You have a huge price range from 5-7k.
If you can really extend yourself to 7K, just go for the Rynox Tornado Pro Jacket (Mesh Material is far superior than any other jacket out there)- Knox Armors, CE Rated back armor, reissa twin-zip rain liner mechanism, thermal liner. This is one jacket which does it all. Uncompromised protection with Knox.

In the 5K range you can also try the Rynox Air GT comes with a better back protector than Evo. Also try the Cramster Breezer, it is a good jacket again, but i guess its for 6450.

Buy a protective jacket, looks should be secondary. Make a wise choice accordingly .

Recently ordered Cramster Blaster riding gloves from Cramster online website. At first I bought a larger size which was exchanged later on at an additional cost of ₹ 150 (Original cost - ₹ 2450). The stitching and leather quality looks good. I tried it out yesterday and today while riding from home to office and back. Good protection all around. First impression was man this leather is hard as rock. It doesn't allow me to bend the finger properly and hence finding it difficult to use clutch and front brakes. Hope it gets good over period of time once I break-in into the gloves. Another thing is that since I own a R15S and it has clip on's, pinky finger of both hands never fit on it. It always slide outside (it could be just me though), but it gets uncomfortable in bumper to bumper traffic. Have attached couple of images.
