Did any of you guys confirm if Helios comes with level 2 knox Armour?
I double checked. It is still the same old Knox Level 1. So either the guy at the store really did not know about it which is surprising bcoz the fellow had been to the Spartan primary Store in Chennai or he was trying to fool him.

Also their website still mentions level 1.

Been reading this thread for a while now since I'm planning on getting my brother and myself a good riding jacket for about 5-7k each. It is ideally for our Leh trip later this summer but thinking of buying it now so that we've gotten used to it come June.

I've gone through so many sites and honestly am more confused than when I started searching. Would need a jacket with good protection, with the possibility of upgrading the armour. And a jacket that I can use every day to work.

Here are some of the few I've narrowed down to, any information on these will be appreciated

      1. Rynox Tornado Pro

Seems to be the popular one around. Not too happy with the way it looks online.

      2. Tarmac One Riding Jacket

Can't make out if this is a product bikers like or not, found mixed reviews online.

      3. DSG Evo Two

Loved the look of it but found out that DSG quality is bad.

      4. Biking Brotherhood Spiti and Ladakh

Look like good jackets, just need information from people who've used it.

      5. LS2 4 Weather Jacket

One of the better looking ones around. Tried it on at the showroom and felt it was good. The issue is that I can't find any reviews (positive or negative) on this thread.

Any information regarding these jackets or other recommendations will be immensely appreciated.

      Thanks,
      JoashC
I am using the Tornado Pro too and it is simply an amazing jacket. Looks are subjective. But I love the way it looks.
I do not ride much in groups but with a few friends and while on the road if I am tailing or leading, they recognize me by the prominent design of the jacket. So the looks (the two big horns) kind of structure makes you stand out.

Go for it bro. It is an amazing jacket.

Have to go check this one out at the store ASAP since everyone is talking about it so highly. Thanks for your input bro, will take your word for it and give it a try.

Bro I've been using the Royal Enfield v2 jacket which costed me 8500 and Royal enfield city riding gloves @2500. Would say just try it out. Been using it over a year now. Just about perfect for me.

Thanks for clearing it up. I'm also inclined towards Tornado Pro (Green, maybe it will compliment the green horns of gixxer sf :P).

            Thanks bro, Will try out.

P.S Went to Velavan motors(V11 motorcycle riding gears) in valasarvakkam chennai to check Rynox and Tarmac jackets but they have no stock of them. They are supposedly dealers of Rynox and Tarmac but have nothing on display in both the brands. Disappointed.

                Hello guys
I just checked out the Agv sport airtex pants which retails for around 109$ in RevZilla. Pls shed some light on my choice here about the usage and reliability. My waist is 34inches. If anyone already own that pls help me with the sizing. I would also like to know about the shipping ease from USA (will it cost any import customs?).

PS: pls refer me to any online store having that,if any.

Shipping charges itself will be $55 something, on top of that you'll end up paying about 40% customs charges of total value ( product + shipping )

I'm not the kind of guy who goes knee down on the bike and stuff neither do I ride rash , so I don't want the best jacket , anything breathable (well ventilated ) and hopefully cheap would do. How's this one ? https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01JM09OXC/..._uHe5ybDH2DXZF

Is there a better one with less price ? 8.9k is a lot for me
                    --------------------------------

I think this will suit me better (6.1 feet tall, very lean 60kilos , I'm guessing large would be best for me chest 40") , also it'll go well with RS graphite black

That one is too expensive. At that price you can get a lot of good jackets with Knox/Sastec armours. Check Home page for the Tornado Pro jacket. Have been using it since quite some time and can vouch for the same. You can also check the TBG Jacket.
