It used to ship with Sastec Level 2 protectors, times have changed now and Aspida went unbranded on all jacket protectors, not worth buying anymore. Check brands like Rynox, Solace, Raida that ship with known protection.

        Thanks,
I believe there's one Aspida Nemesis 2 jacket (without L2 in the name) which is having sas-tec level 2 armour

Right, when buying, just check the protectors, you might get old one. (read gold)

Do protectors deteriorate over time? Even when they are in storage?

They have a life of 5 years (optimal) and max of 7-10 years.

If it's Sas-tec, I believe they are black in color.

They are Yellow / black / blue / green. Just read the branding on protectors, it says SAS-TEC.

Need some insights from fellow Bhpians urgently. I'll be starting my Sikkim ride day after tomorrow, and I planned to carry my magnetic tank bang(A Solace Xtreme Magnetic Tank Bag) with me as a hand baggage on the flight to Bagdogra. I read on a few forums that the magnetic bag will create trouble during security checks and might not be allowed to be carried as a hand baggage, and in some cases, as a checked in baggage as well.

Has any of you carried such bags as either a hand or checked in baggage before, and, if yes, did you face any trouble during the security checks? I plan to keep my camera and other electronic/riding essentials in this bag during my ride. If there is indeed an issue in carrying such bags on board, I'll have to look for alternate arrangements.

I will be buying a preowned 650-900cc class bike soon and want to upgrade my current riding gear. I need:

                          1. Riding jacket : Safety is priority, best armors all around (back, shoulder, elbow and chest), good fabric for abrasion resistance. Budget is around 8000. Strictly below 9000.
                          2. Riding Gloves: Safety, comfort (grip) is priority. Budget around 2.5-3k
                          3. Boots: Ankle twist protection and should protect incase bike falls off on my leg. Excellent road grip to handle heavy weight of bikes. Budget: ideally around 9000. but can increase to 12-13k

Will buy pants later. But right now i have a total budget of 20-22k for all 3. (helmet budget is taking huge chunk off my 40k budget). I cannot increase my budget, If i cannot find a good option in my budget, either i will have to compromise to cheaper alternative or postpone my purchase till next year.
There is no destination, I just want to keep riding.

                          Honda CBR 650F / CBR 250R ABS Repsol (Sold) / Yamaha FZ-S

                            1. I would recommend the Solace Sabre Mesh Jacket. 600D chassis with mesh panels and 1000D Cordura on shoulders and elbows. Full set of powertector Level 2 armour (elbows, shoulders, and back), and a set of EVA foam chest protectors (upgradable to Sas-Tec level 1). It'll run you 8250, and another 1800 if you choose to opt for the upgraded chest armor.

                            2. For the most protection, I'd recommend you to slightly extend your budget and go for the Solace Hit-Pro (3200). If you want more airflow and comfort, the Rynox Shield Pro gloves (2650) are also a good choice, although they are a bit difficult to find. BBG also makes a semi gauntlet glove (3k).

                            3. Ryo T-Rex is an excellent choice, although it is a bit pricey as it runs you almost 12k. For more of a budget boot, I would suggest the BBG racing boots at 8.5k.

Also, will your usage be mostly city or highway?
