Brother, trust me. After trying on MANY stylish jackets and realizing that style doesn't really hold when you are drenched to the nuts because of non-waterproof jackets, I have settled on Duckbacks. True, they are not the most beautiful out there, but once it comes to business and dealing with HARD rains, I haven't yet seen them fail. Take your pick!

        • Crimson Moto Gear Chest Protector

@Jonak: I received the Crimson Moto Gear Chest Protector yesterday&tried it out on a 50-60kms.ride last night.
Fitting was a bit confusing at first, didn't know which side to wear!
Otherwise it is basically like a slightly thicker waistcoat&meant to deflect small stones etc.
Not of much use in case of a fall.
I don't plan to wear it under my jacket either, as it only gives a psychological feel that there is some chest protection.
But yes, when I do wear only my knee&elbow protectors for short rides, I will use it to deflect small stones&protection against strong winds. It should be good to that extent.
But in no way is it a cheaper option to an armored jacket!

Where is it in bangalore? Address would be helpful.

            • I got a two piece rain suit from Pantaloons, Lido Mall last year.
Great at stopping rain, but not too jazzy, a plain Grey color, they had a sporty upper jacket there as well, but no lowers with those colorful ones

Comes in a neat packing carry bag, easy to carry around in your back pack

Thanks a lot Sarvajit for the review.
Now I will think twice before going for this one.

You can check the details here www.cramster.in and www.outdoortravelgear.com

                              • Handwash in the only option. For the mesh you'll need to use a detergent and good amount of strength(if its that dirty). Clean the leather with a wet cloth and then wipe with a dry cloth. Remember to keep the leather as dry as possible. Hang dry in a cool airy place.
