Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

Here, copied from the site I shop!

It’s best to order gloves in the size you normally wear. Most (but not all) gloves are pretty consistent in size from one brand to another, so if you have bought size “Large” in the past, then you’d have a pretty safe bet in ordering a large.

If you have no idea what size glove to buy and have no past experience in buying gloves, you can measure your hand. We suggest you use a cloth tape measure like the one shown below. You can get a range of measurements depending upon how much you try to make your hand wide and flat. We get the best fit by using the largest measurement you can get (by making your palm as wide and flat as possible with the thumb sticking straight out). After getting a measurement, use the chart below to convert the measurement to an alpha size:
            Actual Hand
            Measurement Alpha Glove Size
            6”-6.5” XS
            6.5”-7.5” Small
            7.5”-8.5” Medium
            8.5”-9.5” Large
            9.5”-10.5” XL
            10.5”-11” XXL
            11”-12” XXXL

OT: That term you used is considered offensive in Mumbai

The Glove you linked me to is NOT waterproof, its a mesh glove.
If you want a safe city glove, check the Raven

Waterproof gloves are usually made of a different material, they are not the usual leather or mesh! its more like the umbrella material with some amount of foam\rubber padding.

Heres the ONLY one that I could find on DSG.....

I would really advice against that glove purely for the reason that it is grossly overpriced. While its good buy branded stuff, but I would still put my money on something that suits my need....

Invest in something which will safe guard your wrist, knuckles.... this is probably more apt

It comes with a inner liner. I am sure you got that. You will need to wear a waterproof liner (doesn't come with the jacket) either inside or outside the mesh jacket. Actually it doesn't matter if the main layer gets wet. Its mesh anyways it'll dry off easy and other parts are leather and padding mostly.

Absolutely wrong jacket to buy for monsoon.
