I am not very familiar with any of these brands. Will reccomend Alpinestars reflex knee guards from www.newenough.com for about USD 68. i.e approx 3000 rupees.

Else if you are willing to spend about 3900 rupees, you can get Alpinestars Bioniv Knee guards from www.planetdsg.com

Alpinestars is a reputed brand and both Newenough and Planet DSG are pretty fair in their dealings.

I doubt if you will get a good jacket at that price but I would buy a jacket before the knee guards.

BTW - Newenough is also a great place to buy from.

My sinciere reccomendation - put in a plan and save some money to buy complete gear. A good helmet, a good jacket, gloves, kneeguards and shoes

My riding gear

1.Jacket: I got this one from US ,its called TOURMASTER cost me 135$ including shipping charges about 6k ,its a textile jacket ...Works well against cold without the cold liner so hoping it can take much more when i put back the cold liner provided.But in summer, i need to be riding in afternoon to be warm or else its a sauna inside when i stop at the signals

2.Gloves:Now thats the budget gloves from DSG for Rs.800 which i felt is descent for the price works well in summer and ok for winter ( I am talking 10 12 deg Cel)

3.Helmet : This is VEGA-model not sure but its actually a US made helmet marketed by VEGA in India (originally AFX-FX90 ) for 2.3K

Next on my mind is
4.Shoes : Probably will settle for something like Puma Ducati for abt 2.5K which can be used everyday and on weekend rides
5. Kneepads from Alpine star whihc cost abt 1.6k available on DSG (again basic model )

Just came across this site RIDERS DISCOUNT : The source for high quality motorcycle products, They charge a flat rate of 25usd for shipping any international order.

While they dont have closouts and bargains basements, their prices on current product lines is comparable to many other online stores.

Has anyone used this website and has any experiences to share?

it cost $30 less compared to what i paid .Do mind that this is a touring jacket hence is bulky but works well in all weather .I ordered it from Amazon.com.The sizes mentions are accurate depending on your chest and shield in inches which is standard and felt the fit perfect .

Abt the shoes :
Yup those use to cost 5.5k but presently an new year offer of 50% discount has made it available for abt 2.8k so sure is worth it as u can use it for everyday city biking and weekend touring
