BTW the TSO boot looks better than the cramster but my advice would be to do a personal check as well to be doubly sure. and 5.8k is not a bad price for this boot , considering that cramster retails for close to 5k. if you can get it for 5-5.2k nothing like it.
Thanks for sharing your views on those boots. I got the TSO boot yesterday evening. I got it for Rs.5800/-.

Now are you able to see the picture?

Yes, it was a great deal apart from Indian custom duty charges and shipping charges.

Quality is really good (not comparing with Alpinestars Suit) as price I got.

          • Am "planning" to start up a small venture with my friend making custom apparells and accesories designed around motorcycles. For example luggage items (Saddle bags, tank bags, tail bags etc) apparels, (Jackets, Rain suits, Tees and some other stuff)

How many of you guys would be intrested.

This would be quality stuff and would be surely priced below DSG\Cramster.
The designs would be custom made with proper motorcyling in mind (not saying that others dont do this) but just saying that designed with our desi bikes in mind.
For example a tail bag that I have custom designed is a perfect fit for the R15 and the RTR (my bikes ) and so on.

How many of you guys would be intrested?

              • @ satyenpoojary - Wishing you all the best for your new venture. I for one would be interested in good quality saddle bags & a tail bag. And of course, all of us being Indians would be interested in cheaper stuff . The only concern people might have is durability and scope for replacements if there are minor issues in quality (cough cough Cramster cough).

How are you guys planning out your distribution network & sales ? Online payments folowed by you guys couriering it ? Or sales through shops ?

Right now its based on a courier model rest assured the product would be durable and yet cheaper than the ones minting money.
This is a part time venture for me and probably a full time thing for my folks to be busy and something very close to my heart, so obviously not doing it for money but would be sane to maintain the reputation

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

that's a great initiative. iam interested in saddle bags and if you come up with a decent saddle bag with rain cover ,better in quality than the cramsters and at lower price than the cramsters, then i ll definitely buy one for sure.

one more suggestion, if you can come up with some funky shoe shift protector which retails for under 200-300 bucks that will be great.

wish you all the best and will keep an eye on your post.

Which bike do you want it for?

I have on paper a design for a saddle-bag which can double up as a Back-pack with proper rain cover. However that would be slightly pricier than the colt.

Let me make one and show it to you

i want it for my pulsar 220.there are 3 problems that need to be sorted out with colt.
                                1) the bag is claimed to be trapezoidal but when i tried my friends colt it hangs so close to the exhaust.

                                2) the bag doesnt come with a rain cover.

                                3) the bag is not detachable.

i wanted to go for the get off ur ass bag but that was too big and will push on/ crush the indicators on my bike.

basically i want something which gives a good clearance at the exhaust and at the same time doesnt disturb the indicators as well and ofcourse the rain cover.

as suggested by you if you can make it work like a backpack nothing like it.finally if you can deliver what you had promised regarding the quality and functionatility then i dont mind the price.

lastly i have a design of a toe shift protector( rather a shameless copy) in mind and i was wondering if i share it with you, can you make a few pieces from the left over materials of the saddle bag if its feasible.

finally would love to see your design of the saddle bag.
