In, the end..u can judge for urself, whether the bike requires a new Jet or not. See, installing new jets may bring some changes radically. However, at the same time, there may be some problems too. Just to let u know, my Classic doesn't have bigger Jets. Its just that, they are originals and mechanically altered. (I am sure, u must've heard about the "Pinning Process"!
) Even after that, the size difference is almost negligible. Its just, that engine now have proper fuel-air proportion. For example, i've been running my Classic on Speed for past 7 yrs. Trust me, this matters alot.

See, if u can go for Tectracs / Automech exhausts. For demo, u can check out Prashanth_Benz tectracs installed on his ditsy or mine on youtube. Exhausts are better options than typical silencers. And yeah, they do increase ur bike performance. Not that marginally, but coupled with K&N, NGKs and bigger Jets, yes..they do!
Ofcourse, no size alterations. No upjetting, as i already mentioned. Now, coming to this "insane" amount of power...!
See, i've maintained my Classic as best as i can. Nothing so particular in it. I sticked with Speed for all these years, used Castrol GTX 20W50 from the beginning along with Bajaj's recommended engine/fuel additives. (Go for them, they cost around 180 and are good!) Regular servicing of K&N, replacing parts at appropriate intervals..thats what i've done. However, this was the first major work that my bike has gone through. Coz, the work involved, new Ditsy-like Paintjob, Halogen Bulb fitment, New Rims, sprockets, Black Coating on full engine surface, Chain-set, Timing chain, Washer, Rear Nitrox shocks, Swing Arm Assembly (of DTS-i actually! Due to which, i had to remove Saree Guard!
)Rings, Pressure Plates, Shocker Springs, Sealings and yes..a new Carburettor! Though, it took me 4-5 days to set the fuel-air proportion like the one in the old carb. Man, i was beginning to get upset during those 4 days. However, i kept patience and everything was apapted perfectly by engine. I must say, Classic is full of surprises and still potent after all these years. Ask any Classic owner, who has maintained his, and he'll tell u the same!
So, i think..its quite obvious that after all these things the original Classic has to be resurrected.
And about, the word.."Insane" i think its more of a metaphor to associate with the Classic 180 performance!!
