    Modification of P-180 DTS-i (2003 model)

Hi! Can somebody tell me what are the modifications to be carried out to fit 17" alloy wheels from BAJAJ to my P-180 DTS-i (2003 model) which originally came with 18" wire spoke wheels with steel rims????? Also, there is a wobbly feeling at the rear wheel and the gas filled shockers (modification from the original ones) keep knocking on the saree guard!!! The suspension bushes have been changed but to no avail!! Please help!!!

Don't you have to alter the gear ratios too, if you change the size of the tyres? Have you checked the rear wheel alignment? And the shocks have enough gas charge right? Probably the rims or the axle has been bent, i'm just saying these from the top of my mind, a little more detail to the problem might help too

@dps- An iridium spark plug has a higher heat range compared to normal platinum plugs, and also in a iridium NGK plug the electrode is pointed and therefore there little chance of the engine misfiring, and the charge is also concentrated on the pointed plug therefore the air/fuel mixture gets burnt more effieciently

OT: it is possible to recharge pulsar's rear gas shocks,or replacement is only solution.cos there is huge difference in dampening in bike's shocks.or is it possible to remove gas from shockers.my mech says' that one of my shock is running without gas,is it possible?

I've never actually seen or heard of the gas chambers being recharged either, but i think it should be possible, after all youcan't expect the gas chambers to hold gas permanentally

^^ Ah just as i thought, and by the way is it just compressed air does it contain something special (like nitrogen or something, it does say "Nitrox")??

Will fitting a NGK iridium spark Plug in a bike like the Gladiator result in better mileage and throttle response? Or is it meant only for higher cc bikes?

No dude its no special gas, its the same air available in our enviornment. This name Nitrox because the air consists around 73% nitrogen.

yeah i saw your video exhaust note is sweet !

how much difference did the polished head and camshaft make ? cost ? and from where did you get it done ?
even im using KnN+iridiums .. cant find oversized jets here
i reckon you should be doing 128-130 easy
                      thanks buddy!
well, the process made the revving much easier. Plus, the bike is now able to pull from 20 even in 3rd gear wihtout much efforts. The head polishing was done by BAL guyz and costed me 375 bucks. As for cams, the whole replacement cost me around 700-800 bucks.
As for top end, well yeah it is increased by margin. Before this, i was able to touch 115. And now, my classic can touch 128@8K RPM in final gear.
Another noticable difference is that, the engine can now pull to 80 in 3rd gear. All in all i am happy. I'll be posting the pics ASAP.
Ok, the only problem is that, the engine is still taking some time to adapt the new carburettor. Plus, during the ride, whenever, the acclerator is limited, the bike backfires alot. (All right even not that much. coz, it was backfiring even with the old carb unit.) I hope everything is fine. What do you think?

After u installing iridium Spark plug in ur bike it runs in low vibration in high torque and obviously if u install k&n n carb turning...properly thn k&n filter will increase ur running Speed on 80-100 like 0-60 in same ratio ...
but it will slightly decrease the fuel effency.

some time Bike Misfires When u took high acceleration then break the torque quickly.
(i mean when u r taking high torque and u have reduced it then after that when u again taking high acceleration at that time bike use to be misfires..)
