Which showroom did you get it serviced at? I believe Pearl mechs do a good job (with some generous tipping of course) if you are around when they are at your bike.

Hey... Any good mechanic in Mumbai to service and tune a Unicorn?? I'm totallee frustrated with Honda Service Centre... avg of around 35-40 and top speed of just 90-90kmph

You can contact a mech near Bannerghatta road. I forgot the garage name. I serviced my Glady there and he does really nice job.

He is the yamaha certified mechanic and has very good experience.

I feel even i might be having the same problem of poor tuning of the carb. My bike gives around 45-48. Though i ride hard i don think the bikes mileage should go down this low.So if anyone knows a good mech please do suggest.

Any good service centre for a Unicorn in/around Ramamurthy nagar, Bangalore? I am particular about the quality of work though. How is the Castrol Bikezone on ORR a little after KR Puram Bridge?

Hi Prajwal,
Its called Ahmed bikes. I have given my Avy there a couple of times, once for a complete service. These guys are strictly OK. Especially if you give it on a weekend it wont get the necessary attention. The head guy there, Vittal, is ok but cant say anything about the rest of them.

See if you can find any other place or a Honda dealer...I dont know how those guys are. Hopefully better than Bajaj then you can try them. There is a new Honda dealer on Varthur road, about 3-4kms after Marthahalli bridge to your right when going towards Whitefield. But dont know much about them...

AFA the Castrol thing concerned, keep it for emergencies. Find somebody better for regular servicing...
Just my opinion
I am still looking for a good place for servicing. For emergencies and other work, I found a pretty good guy near Kundanahalli gate. Small place but a couple of guys there do good work.
