By your post, it is pretty clear that you have not heard about 'The Sims' franchise, really. The Sims is a very popular franchise. A few days back the third iteration - The Sims 3 has been released to rave reviews.

It is a 'virtual life simulator' whereby you control virtual people and lead their lives. They act just like real people would in real life. You need to control their daily needs, professional lives, personal lives, and everything in between.

If you haven't had the chance to play through any of the Sims version, I believe you should atleast give The Sims 3 a try. I am pretty sure you would love it.

By the way is there any other game which is like GTA san andreous...i mean gangster type....i have played godfather its not upto the mark..and gta 4 is a crap...and i have heard about Mafia ....has anyone played this game??

Did you try Chronicles of Riddick : Assault on Dark Athena? Also, Terminator Salvation if you are a fan of the series (Third person).

what about Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2?
this is the "awesoemest" FPS game i have ever played.

Then u have Farcry 2 this one is also good.

the new GTA 4 - U really need a hardcore Gaming Machine for this. Atleast a quad-core processor and nothing less than 4Gbs or RAM, and a 512mb or 1gb video card.

Count on my words - GTA 4 bestest game in the world(Role Playing)

then for strategic enthus must have game - Age of Empires ( all of'em)

another good strategy game - Company of Heroes. world war 2 at its best. awesome graphics, awesome audio. (especially the howitzers, when they fire)

YOU need a console!!!
The PS2 & XBOX 360 changed my gaming life!
No Amount of Pc power can keep last you for the next 4-5 years, whereas the console will last..think of perspective and the larger picture..a 4 gig, 1gb vram system( approx 40000) will be good for playing games and what else...
where as a basic 2gb basic graphics pc(20000) and an xbox(18-20000) will satisfy ur pc needs and ur gaming needs..

No third person for me. The only third person that I really liked playing was MAX PAYNE! It has always been and will always be first-person. And I really am not a great fan of these stealth style games too. One or two-levels in a game is fine, not the whole game!

Havent played L4D so cant say. But Dead Space is one of the scariest and involving game in the market today. Check out the reviews on Gamespot or IGN. Give it a whirl. Aryan da is too sold out on the game like me.

Gaming scenario is a little bleak nowadays. The last good game I played was F.E.A.R 2 and maybe that runner game by EA (damn forgot the name).

haha , i know , me and my frnd were tossing the controller to each other and asking the other to play . (p.s. all games were played between 11pm-2am)
