@Pranay: Do give us an impression of 'Quantum of Solace'.
My GTA-IV has been working quite well, after some terrible sluggishness on the first day. I wonder what happened to it, suddenly!
Although a little slowness is still there, but it is pretty darn playable.
I downloaded a patch released by Rockstar and had applied it. Although it wasn't meant primarily to solve any such technical problems (read slow and chuggy frame-rates), but atleast for me it seems to have worked quite well..
Oh and one more thing - Niko Belic and Liberty City rocks!:)Comment

Its a decent game with decent graphics, but nothing extra ordinary. It would have been a great game two to three years back, but now with games like Crysis, this level of detail even at Max Settings is ordinary at best. What I like is the sound, with proper gunfire and explosion you get shaken up in certain situations.
Major disappointment is the gadgetry. No bond gadgets, he just uses some hi-fi stuff in cutscenes but you cannot use them while playing. Really disappointing.
Gameplay is smooth and weapon detail, and damage from each weapon is different, you can see that they actually worked on the accuracy and fire rates of the weapons.
The storyline is the same as the movie but the good thing is this game also has the first Bond movie missions in it. For eg, chasing after the bomb guy around the construction yard. And certain flashbacks that led him to be in the situation at present.
Voice-overs are done by the real people in the movie as far as I know, with Daniel Craig, Judi dench, Eva Green and Olga lending their voices in this game.
I didn't expect this to be a good title anyways. Movie adaptations have never crossed over well in most games. This one is a bit higher than I expected though, I must say. The missions are short and the constant cutscenes with M and other characters is engaging, funny and sometimes even hilarious.!!DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVeComment

@pranay - trust me, turn up the volume, if you don't have good speakers, get the best pair of headphones you can find - i always prefer headphones, the level of detail in the audio department in this game NEEDS a good pair of cans! Turn up the volume a weeee bit, and prepare to see your heart rate spiking every now and then!
Slight update on Dead Space - i've reached chapter 6 with the first boss, and I must say that the xbox360 controller is the MOST frustrating controller for FPS games. Aiming is a rightful pain in the ass, and the turning stick is so sluggish that by the time I get my aim set the enemy moves. In a boss fight, i'm aiming with my mouse half the times!
Does anyone else have the controller? I can't wait to play some good racing titles on the controller, the analog sticks would rule there, but for FPS games, or any game where you need to aim a crosshair, it's a right royal pain in the arse! And it's not too cheap either :-(
BUT! Playing any ubisoft game on this controller is full paisa vasool :-D Anyway, conclusion - no console for me. Ever. Although I can't wait to try out MGS4 for PC with the controller. I seriously can't see how people played Halo on the Xbox so much. Is it just me or is nothing better than a keyboard and mouse combo for any game involving the slightest bit of aiming? Or do I just suck at FPSes?

Currently playing GRID on my XBOX though the game is a bit old, but I am enjoying playing it, the effects, the replays, track env. is very good, I especially liked the Free Style Drifting track.
