Actually I was talking about the BMW in Most Wanted.Yes,MW has a monstrously tuned M3 GTR(in a way,the whole game revolves round it).Originally posted by pulsater View Posthmm.. will download it sometime later.. and yeah thats GTR not GTA sorry
Now that you mention it,I noticed that you mistyped GTR as GTA.

As much as I would love to play online titles, my net connection sadly doesn't provide so much bandwith. How I wish my work-place would allow playing online multiplayer games!Originally posted by Marcus Lucius Maximus View PostHey does anyone here play Voyage Century Online?
The only time I have played online was back in 2006 and the title was 'Diablo-II'. Online questing with friends from over the world was REAL fun!
On topic of multiplayer gaming, how many of us here have expereinced multiplayer gaming, of any sort - over LAN or the internet? I have played substantial multiplayer games over LAN but not so much over the net. Among the multiplayer titles, I absolutely LOVE Quake-III Arena and NFS series. AoE also is cool although I get really bored very quickly off the RTS games..

Bringing to light, which I haven't seen discussed in this thread so much before, is the importance about headphones in gaming. Greyanaroth put forth a very good point here. I actually have actually have a good set of headphones but I don't use them for gaming. I have always been using the Creative speakers.Originally posted by greyanaroth View Post@pranay - trust me, turn up the volume, if you don't have good speakers, get the best pair of headphones you can find - i always prefer headphones, the level of detail in the audio department in this game NEEDS a good pair of cans! Turn up the volume a weeee bit, and prepare to see your heart rate spiking every now and then!
I was just wondering the effectiveness of headphones in gaming. I did some searching of products. I came across this. The mother of all gaming headphones. Yes, there are such things called Gaming Headphones.

$199 for the headphones
and to use them effectively u gotta buy the amp ...as a bundle thats $249
You do get other gaming headphones though from other brands starting from $100.
Which brings me to this question: which would you opt? 5.1/7.1 speakers or gaming headphones with simulated 5.1/7.1Last edited by pranay; 01-08-2009, 05:10 PM.DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe

I have played in MulitPlayer only once. It was for an inter-collegiate that we had organised projectors. We hooked up the projector to a LAN, installed DOOM 3, NFS 7 and CoD(I dont remember 1 or 2) and played through the night. Since we were the organisers we were allowed to stay overnight. Only 5-10 of the whole class of 60 went home. Awesome experience!!Originally posted by Aryan View PostOn topic of multiplayer gaming, how many of us here have expereinced multiplayer gaming, of any sort - over LAN or the internet?
P.S : Imagine playing DOOM 3 at 3 AM with 10 - 15 others on a projector with the image around 10*10 and u will understand.
Did that in single player too and was truely shaking to my inner core!

actually pranay ...240 $ is not a really big amount for the kinda performance this headphone give. I still remember people who have bought the bose ear plugs for the double the price of the original here - Rs.8k.Originally posted by pranay View PostBringing to light, which I haven't seen discussed in this thread so much before, is the importance about headphones in gaming. also considering the amp gives you a digital out - it is well worth the buy.
headphones are good...sounds seem very accurate, but i would prefer a solid 5.1 speaker system( more than enough compared to 7.1). And yeah, digital outs please - either coax or optical. no analog connections which is standard on most lower end creatives and others (5.1 or 7.1)R.I.P kriss.
