Finally, the review of 'Quantum of Solace' (the game) is out, and it's got a 'Decent' rating - a 7.5 out of 10. I, for one would sure give the "new" 007 a try!

me going to get myself a PS3 .. mainly for the BD ROM player. A few questions ..

1. is the india one only upgradable to firmware 1.8 or do we also get the 2.5
2. is the drive ROM only or does it support BDR and BDRE along with DVD +- R/RW/RAM and CD +-R/RW
3. Is the 80 GB one available in india as the 40 GB SKU has been removed in the US.

Just completed download of Far-Cry 2 and installed it. Also installed Brothers-in-Arms:Hell's Highway. Expecting a rough weekend ahead.
From the opening cut-scene, I think BIA:HH has a lot of other episodes in the beginning too! Does it have some kind of storyline? Could someone care to explain it a bit here?

@Apar: It would do you a world of good if you could play Brothers In Arms: Earned in Blood and Road To Hill 30 before splurging directly onto Hell's Highway.

P.S: Is 'Fallout-3' available over the torrents already? Dying to get my hands on that one!

hey started playin the Quantum Of Solace Game.I think I am the only one around here paying this game right now......................What more do you expect of a Bond Maniac???

Anyway the Game wont impress u with visual detailings but believe me it has got that breathtaking thrill and spirit of adventure that comes with James Bond.U have to destroy multiple enemies very fast otherwise u r gone................no medicines u live only once.

Enemies also flank you from ur back if you are unaware like some AI game character.......u always have to be alert.Fast is the word related with this game.One has to be pretty fast and reactive otherwise he might end up in suddenfire,ground crash or a hundred bullets ornamenting his body.................

77% downloaded.. Still 23 hrs to go to download the rest of the game.

On a serious note... I didnt like FARCRY 2, espcially when dealing with enemies. Its very hard to kill them. Every fellow takes atleast 5-10 headshots to die with an AK 47 or any other submachine gun.

Didnt try with shotgun....

Didnt like it actually...but still playingfor timepass till my QOS downloads completely.

PS: does anybody want the saved games for FC2 or BIA HH

You got me wrong way man. I wont compare FC2 with QOS. Cos i didnt play QOS till now. But wait.. will tell you in two days.

But someone here said...that we need to be very fast in the game of QOS. Else..we are gone. It doesnt imply the same with FC2.

FC2 has an excellent Explosion system, Wind system, Day/night cycle system.. Everything is perfect to its maximum extent.

The crappy thing which i didnt like is... Even when you stand face to face in front of enemy and if you start shooting at him with rifle's or submachine guns.. That a$$hole wont die unless or untill he eats some good 5-10 shots..

Most difficult part is its hard to recognize enemy when you are moving around in the forest in your jeep.

But still lets see...

FC2... Graphics - Awesome..
Enemy AI - Sucks... I hate killing them, instead...would take my knife and stab them silently if possible.

And Fear 2: Project Origin - another title after which I will hibernate...

F.E.A.R was daaamn scary man...especially if you play@ night with woofers or a good set of headphones....easily the scariest FPS I have ever played...

Hey the bad bit about FarCry2 is that I destination and maps are too far and confusing...........................plus changing SUVs then and now............Enemies pop up all over the road.................after one hour it makes me gamesick,so much killing at the cost of only few diamonds.God knows when I will send that Jackal 'beyond'...............ahem to heaven or hell.Whatever be it FarCry2 is too much realistic....................and reality is damn boring.We game for some refreshment,isn't it?

FarCry2s storyline makes me think of the film-Blood Diamond acted by Leonardo Di Caprio............that is why I love playing it even though it bores me a lot.

By the way two questions abt FarCry2....
1.Did anyone experienced gun jams and Gun breaking apart if the Machine has grown old?Thats too realistic again.
2.All people playin FarCry2 please tell which mercernary you chose for the mainGame character................My mercernary is Hakim of UAE.There is also an Indian mercernary by the name Quarbaain Singh...........he is a cool Sikh.

True!! Very true.... In my entire gaming life only DOOM 3 gave me nightmares. I still remember those night where I would wake up all sweating and afraid with a bad dream about a demon from DOOM. FEAR was a good game for its graphics and storyline, but not as scary as DDOM 3.
