yeah mate. i remember your advice. i was planning on getting the Eliminators Stator plate as someone said its coil produces more power and then change the bulb. As it turns out, i cant get hold of those OSRAM bulbs and they guys @ Sai Service bajaj said it was not worth taking a chance to rewind the coil or mess with the stator plate.

so now i guess HID is the only way to go? bloody expensive way to go too :P

^ Not necessarily - If you are interested in a HID PM me. A friend of mine is getting some from the USA for a good price.

I am sure its possible to add an extra switch to give you that option of switching off the bike with the switch rather than the key ..maybe it will take some work ...but I am not sure you can get a switch placed so ergonomically on the RHS switchgear ...I meant to say it might look ugly coz its tough to blend it into the console there and i am not sure if there is enough space beneath the top cover.

But a 2way/3way switch can be installed somewhere on the handlebar definitely.

        thats quite neatly done!
I have stuck to the tried and tested path of enlightenment. I am running an Avenger coil+rr unit with a osram silverstar 60/55 w bulb. It has done wonders and would have done even better with a better reflector.

There are types of Split fire cables. One of them is Rs 4xx and the other is 8xx. Latter is a "2-core" cable... I have no experience with either of them. However George Katie has bought them recently and you can ask him if he feels any different on his ZMA...

Sorry I dont have any pics.

OK guys, can you tell me what options do I have for upgrading the CBZ classic's headlamps? Also, give me the steps for the installation, as my mech claims that much stuff needs changing in the electrical system for any change from the stock headlamp..

As a matter of fact, I need some help too.

I have a Unicorn and the stock light is pathetic! I mean.... its like riding with a candle in front. I want to brighten it and still retain the hi-beam/low-beam capabilities and without attracting the attention of the cops as well as without being a nuisance to the incoming traffic.

My knowledge of lights, bulbs and bike electricals is zero, zilch. I need help from ground up.

                    Anyone?

U can fit HID but it is too expensive around 4000 INR in kolkata or u can go for rtr160's osram 35W Bilux one. The rtr 160 have better light among all 150CC.

                            Light

                            Hi..

I had put a XENON lamp in the headlight..and got it connected to the Battery,Now unforunately the battery seemed to be not supporting it..
Ok got it changed now have a bigger battery Of zMA in it..howevrr.. the problem still seems to be continuing..
As soon as i put up the light on,the Battery gives an optimum output initialy ,later on the brightness decreases, and soooon the horn weakenn's up..

What could be done as in to keep it.. cos me planning to upgrade to a H.I.D.
What can i do.. keep teh battery charged,or get it fully charged??
