Hi Sandeep,Originally posted by Sandeep_K_Ram View PostPutting the filter inside the airbox or cutting one side of the box is useless. It is just restricting the performance of the filter.
I always put the filter directly to the mouth of the carb. Remove the hose pipe, stick the filter directly.
P200 has a stock jet (main) of 110. I had a RC1060. I got the 115 main jet from the old Unicorn model and got the carb tuned many many many times before it was a somewhere near respectable and there was a small improvement in performance - perceptible improvement - not a placebo
But its a very small gain. That is why my argument is that, spending that much time and money is a waste - unless you just need the sound
Ideal setup? Hard to say. You will use a jet size bigger by 5# or so each time, retune, run for a while, check the plug, check throttle response, rev happiness, etc and then make a call ...trial and error. Lots of time reqd.
Where u did the re-jetting, and what the cost of Jet? (sorry i dont have any idea at all). I have to try that on my FZ.
cheers,
Jins

its not worth it man ...unless you just want that sound
Rejetting - is just trying out jets of different sizes.
Some people will bore out the existing jet to bigger size. Others will try to get a matching jet of bigger size from other bikes. If you know your way around the carb, you can do it yourself else I suggest you get hold of your trusted and knowledgeable mech.

.
My bkes performance is quite good in lower rev's. The problem is it is jerking after 7k rpm. I have tuned up carburetor several times...
If i try re-jetting wil this problem get solved?
