I have compared both the bikes (K&N filter and stock filter)
My 0-60 performance is surely increased coz i did race with 2 different riders and result of my bike is good.

Bt i have another question ?
Is it really worth to install K&N and doing upjetting
coz evreyone is here saying stick with stock air filters and K&N will not increase noticebale performance.

    i just want your opinion...
yup... K&N will do more damage to the bike than the increase in performance.. also, the right jetting takes atleast a couple of months unless it is being done by a experienced person

in one line, K&N will make the bike sound better else, stock rules...

            Like this:

But Viscous filter attracts more dirt so may clog and reduce air flow,so clean it at regular intervals.
Isn't it supposed to be of lesser maintenance than the regular air filter?

                • Which K and N air filter model should I buy and install for My 2010 Dio?
The installation will be done in a few days and will not up jet the carb.
I had installed K&N FF Air filter(unknown model,my pal's) on my Dio but changed to stock due pressure from parents.
I inquired about the RC 1060 @ a customization shop in the Forum mall(top floor) and he quoted a price of 1800 Rupees...is this price correct and is the model correct??
                  Grocery shopping:2010 Honda Dio.
Grocery shopping, in style:2012 Yamaha YZF R-15 Version 2.0

re-jutting is very much needed bro.. Or else you'll end up with overheating & may be other issues. All due to lean AFR.

I think K&N RC1060 will be enough for Dio.

The mechanic told me that,by running the AFR rich, the need for carb up jet will be nullified.

Do you happen to know anything about the cutting of the air filter housing lid(for the sound)?
If yes, then which shape would you recommend(for max intensity)?

Making a hole(Square) in the airfilter box will sound like K&N.

I know but i cannot trust mechanics to do such precision jobs

                                Hopefully!
I wanted it to be a duct type (as on the Scorpio hood, but smaller and perpendicular)
