I think you should go for the Dazzler or the refreshed "Hunk". These bikes have good midrange power on tap and will return better mileage figures as well as maintenance costs as compared to the 180ccs. Extra cc difference will make their presence felt more on highways!!
I rode the Dazzler not very happening For some reason the hunk i rode stalled after every few minutes

ThanxxYa rode the bike..good handling.nice massage to the balls but the raw power is amazing. Quality though seems to be an issue with TVS, though I feel it's overblown

Checked out the White version ..looked way to flashy for my taste (I am an average Joe )
        BTW hows the mileage??

Thanxxx I am not really inclined towards Suzuki. Will surely think about the SZ though my experience with Gladiator is less than happy

Just saw the Street fighter though didn't ride it.. Just feels too plasticyI don't know but it was plastic everywhere and the front cowls got loose when i wriggled them

            Any bikes maintained perfectly,is reliable.
If you are looking for comfort, then P180 is for you...or you can even consider P220,as milage is never a concern for you.
If you want some Raw Power,Love Zipping in traffic,Apache is the machine.
I was in same situation last year, while buying a bike....
            I didnt get P220 instantly,so I bought the Apache 180...
no problem till now.11000 kms covered.
            i m riding daily to office.(35 kms.)

Buy any of them, you will never be dissapointed..........

            Just Maintain your bike properly....

            My vote------Apache 180

all the best...for your future ride...
            Thats called rhetorical explanation
Yes I will take good care of my ride and now have started tilting towards the MENACE

hey doc its quiet simple your heart and body are fallen for the rtr 180 as its given a soothing feeling to you, same is happened with me some days back i test rode the R15, zma-r, hunk, P220 and apache rtr 180 back to back. i am 5'10 though i loved the zma-r but after riding the 180 i have also fallen for the menace, though some say its not suiting for tall guys and all but i felt it comfortable to ride, now waiting for 10th sept to see whats next under the hood of hyperedge or rtr 180 is the way to go

                A180

pros- faster ! handles great ! sporty seating position great for short runs and when your in the mood for some racing.
cons- vibes, harsh ride, back breaking on long rides due to sporty seating position, some mileage issues.

                P180

pros- fast ! handles well ! Reliable. more stable @ higher speeds than A180. great for cruising as well as racing and better ride quality compared to A180. lesser if not no vibes compared to A180.
cons-heavy hence sluggish. little difference compared to other pulsars (A180 has white to distinguish it and blue console display) mileage. ride quality not upto the mark.

if you want a timid personality, a ride which would please you take the P180.

if you want a crazy ride which wouldnt necessarily please you all the time take the A180. I wouldnt say its unreliable but my friends A180 visited the service centre more times than my another friends P180.

P180 is a overall better package cause you can ride fast enough when your happy and you can ride slow without those annoying vibes when you return from a hard days work.

I have decided on the Menace Just can't resist anymore What's this hyper-edge thingy?? Why would TVS introduce a modded 180 I guess they would rather enter the 200cc segment and even if they mod the 180 cc I think it will be the ABS thingy they showed at expo 2010...

Should I wait for it??? I have paid an advance but can afford to wait .... Wat say??

Menace : If your heart says so go for it with eyes closed . Its one bike in India that is made for racing alone you said it massaged your balls common man then its your perfect Romace partner go for it and let the Love meter(your digital speed meter) show your re on the verge of climaxing every 5 minutes after your start romancing(riding)

any mod on a present bike can be made feasible go for the menace why wait for something that's not properly announced even if announced don't wait because you can have the ABS(or what so ever mod brought later)by throwing some extra bucks but time will not rewind at any cost enjoy your ride as soon as possible .My Wishes...

And as far as the vibes are concerned, ride it for 10 days, then you will get addicted to the vibes............ask a true Apachian,he would definitely say,he would miss the vibes,if it suddenly disappears now.....

Anyway For A180 its only a matter of getting used to it.
and about reliability, most of the Apache owners dont complain any massive failure of functioning of bike.

I dont like Pulsars cause there are too common.and there is no visula difference between any of the pulsar bikes now!(150,180,220 S)
