Should I wait for it??? I have paid an advance but can afford to wait .... Wat say??
see some one said technologies will keep on coming and upgrading, if you wait you will wait forever, and the hyper edge is told as its a upcoming bike but not cleared anything about the details or specs, if you can wait till 10th (which is not a confirmed date) and check the same if its released as promised, though you can have a word with the dealer and see what he says, even if you take the refund back you will loose 500/- or some thing bit more.

Most of the time I do that Wat about you?????

Anyway For A180 its only a matter of getting used to it.
and about reliability, most of the Apache owners dont complain any massive failure of functioning of bike.

      I definitely hope so

I dont like Pulsars cause there are too common.and there is no visula difference between any of the pulsar bikes now!(150,180,220 S)
The appearance aside the build quality is not the best and for some reason feels too plasticy, the 220 S included

mind your words dear.. aren't all of us voicing our own personal opinions?
my friends own both the bikes and its MY conclusion.

harsh ride as in.. in broken roads the pulsar was much better than the RTR.. both bounced but i guess due to RTR's light weight or hard suspension it was not as good as the pulsar.

i'm not a fan boy. just posting a honest opinion.

@yellowspunk : Just hope Satyen was pulling your leg there. I second you on the ride quality of the apache. hard suspension for better handling. Set it to soft and you'd never be confident about cornering in your life.... abput the Pulsie's shox... well lets just say that it was a serendipity :P

the pure biking thrill that the apache offers cannot be offered by any bike right now (in india). Both the bikes can last a pretty long time if maintained well but still the apache has an edge in reliability & engine longevity when compared to the pulsar.

i would suggest you to go with p220S coz its just 1k more than A180
its riding position is better, its faster and hardy any difference in FE
and in pulsar vibrations are few even at really high speeds

IMO.. teflon coating is a waste of money, just get your bike a water wash with shampoo and apply wax polish.. that will last for at least couple of months and it's as good as teflon coating.
