Dude read hyperions touring thread where he himself (a ninja rider) would have quoted nikil devils666 RE as ' a RE in hand is worth two ninja's at the bush' the torque RE produces is monstruous but then again do you need it all or not is upto your usage only;more city+less highway= Ninja;less city+more highway=c5 anyways go for what your heart beats for best wishes

if it's working fine... what "maintenance" are you talking about?Originally posted by vinjaram View PostHi guys, I have Rd350 working fine without any problem. The only issue with RD is the maintenance other than that its an amazing bike...
is it fuel consumption only?
or high cost of spares?
or cost of keeping it in good shape?
fuel consumption on the ninja would be 22ish kmpl.
which is about 20% better than compared to your current RD.
the RE in this case would work out the most "cost-effective" of the three bikes... in terms of fuel, spares and maintenance.
keep in mind...
the ninja does need mandatory service check-ups to keep your warranty valid...
it doesn't come with free services check-ups.
so keep in mind the cost involved.
my suggestions... i'll keep it simpleOriginally posted by vinjaram View PostI am Confused what to do so Please help me to make wiser decision.Your reply would greatly appreciated.
Scenario 1: Keep the RD... buy the Ninja
If I were you... this is what I'd do.
There's no way in hell the Ninja250R would ever be able to replace the explosive RD350.
Scenario 2: Sell the RD... buy the Ninja.
Would make things easier... financially.
Scenario 3: Don't buy the RE CL500
if you'v'e been an RD owner u'l know what I mean.
i personally wouldn't move from an RD to a RE.
unless highway riding is what u're into... did i mention??? don't buy the RE.

Might think of keeping the RD or getting the Thump...Scenario 1! Scenario 1! Scenario 1!Originally posted by vinjaram View PostThe choice is final... Either RE C5 or Ninja... I understand the craze what RD has, But I wanna live with the technology...
So Now either C5 or Ninja 250.

Guys I guess I have not ridden Ninja and C5 n thats the reason I am confused abt it.. Have ridden RE electra and found comfortable.... Only comfortable..... Dont know abt the C5 Pick up but can assume the comfort as Electra was comfortable....
But dont know the reason why Ninja is for sale within a year????
Is there a problem in it or ????
I guess only a Ninja user would be able to answer this...

wow you are in an enviable position friend, you can afford two of the best bikes in the country and you own one of the classic bikes in Indian biking history, seriously speaking if you can afford it go for a ninja. Or you could wait awhile and check out mahindra mojo it should be releasing in jan or so.sigpic

On Buying a RD 350 or classic 350
Hi Everyone.
I am Supreeth owning a pulsar 150 2006 model.
Its running good absolutely hassle free. i am planning to buy a RD 350 or a new classic 350 as a collection to my existing bike. however i am worried about the maintenance and the availability of parts of RD hence hesitating to make a decision. should i buy a new classic instead of go for the RD 350.
guys kindly suggest.
