IMO The Mahindra scoots are good enough for the job. Pick up this month's Bike India mag. One of their journalists went for touring on a Mahindra Rodeo.
Activa is not that great. I've done 100 km tours on it and the lack of power is very nagging.
However, if you can, restore the Blaze. It's the best!
