Hey..Tachyon,that's too quick of you to take a decision among other bikes.I think you were already biased towards 180.Congrats dude.....welcome to the tribe.Keep updating about your status in the RTR180 ownership experience thread.Happy RTRing

A motorcycle functions entirely in accordance with the laws of reason, and a study of the art of motorcycle maintenance is really a miniature study of the art of rationality itself.

you might need some time to adjust to the crappy rear tyre. other than that, owning A180 in bangalore must be a pleasure. and mind you, although people have not complained, but apache is a pure track tool. It isnt the best choice if you plan to go for long rides.
also, as john samuel has already said, do not go to the service centre without any ammo
Rightly said the tyres are utter crappy, its better to change the tyre rather than adjusting to it, anytime it spoils the entire Fun

            Pulsar 180 UG4

Hi friend if u want to buy a bike which sounds like a roaring lion (Sound matters ) then go for Apache (both 180 / 160FI depleds on your budget) if u like a bike which sounds like Honda(almost!) go for Pulsar 180. both apache and Pulsar are awesome bikes. both can cover 200 kms effortlessly. personally i love the looks of bajaj pulsar 180 UG4 (so i own one).

Back pain and RTR180 NO PROBLEM

And who said we cant go on Apache RTR180 for more than 200kms. I recently took her to Ladakh and driven for more than 14 hours in a day.No back pain.
But yes any bike which has even a slight bent posture will give you wrist pain during offroading for long hours.(Even Karizma R has a slight bent procedure) Only Unicorn,GS150 and 100cc bikes do not have sporty riding posture which is good for bad roads as your wrist doesnot bear the weight transfer when your front wheel goes in a ditch or bangs against a rock.

For smooth roads Apache RTR180 can be driven easily over200+ kms surely. Its from my own experience.
