Well actually the bikes you mentioned will cost you good 5-10k above your budget (you mentioned 70k)..

My choice would be Pulsar(for power, lower maintenance, spares availability.. and available on demand.. no waiting!!).. it's popular, proven and been there for almost a decade now, still manages to turn heads here and there if not everywhere.

Apache RTR or CBZ extreme or Dazzler or GS 150 r.

          Hi,

I am confused between hero honda cbz ,apache RTR(160,180),Dazzler and S150r.

I have taken test ride of CbZ and RTR, felt that RTR 160 had a better
control and handling, but i felt vibrations the whole time I was riding it(does RTR 180 vibrate even more than this ?) .Also felt that RTR 160 had a better pick up than cbz

When I rode CBZ I dint find that great in handling(may be because it was older, while the apache I rode was a new one), but CBZ was much more smoother than RTR.

Haven't taken a test ride of Dazzler and GS 150.

My needs are following in priority :-
1)comfortable for city ride and for little bit of touring.
          2)Good handling(balance while turning,braking etc..).
          3)Pick up.
          4)Fuel efficiency.
5)performance doesn't get deteriorated with time.
6)Long lasting (requires less maintenance ).

Please rate all the five bikes(both RTR 160 n 180,cbz,dazzler,GS150) on the above criteria.

I had almost finalized to take Zma - r before this but it has 3 months and I can't wait that much . Unicorn also has 6 months waiting so can't opt for it also.

I would also like to know if the vibrations in RTR increases with time, and
does RTR180 produce even more vibrations than 160?

          Thanks

Instead of typing that long post you could have simply said that you want everything from the bike.

Anyways the bike which suits all (not exactly all, its nearly all) your requirements is Honda dazzler. Go for it.

Go for the apache 160.It has a great combination of power and mileage.Otherwise go for the dazzler...

Saw this news yesterday on ET Now.. Hero group is going to buy Honda's stake in Hero Honda JV.. as per the initial agreement, which allows them to buy stake at a discount and then they will bring on strategic investors/PE investors for that stake through a special purpose vehicle. It was not clear what's in store for technical support.. i.e. not clear how long will Honda provide technical support to Hero group after the stake sale.

Apache has vibrations.. Hunk's top end is not very good..

Presence, Attitude.. you seem to have picked up the words straight from that silly Hunk ad on tv.. you seem to have forgotten about the bull logo and red alloy wheels. Top end doesn't mean top speed.. even a stunner manages to touch 100kmph.. but the way it does is more important.. P135LS has better top whack compared to Hunk.. and the way it goes to it's top speed is far better.. engine will not feel like it's tired/stressed even at those speeds.. on the contrary Hunk will cry it's lungs out once you are past 80kmph.

But all the 150's feel bit stressed after 80kmph...yes there are some vibrations in hunk post 70kmph.I feel the acceleration is better than any 150's till 100kmph and my bike has hit a top whack of 123kmph.On an average it hits 118-119 kmph.
have you ridden hunk to its top speed?
