hunk is not that bad as you described ..today first time i saw a new hunk on road, it was of black color & was looking nice on road..

New hunk is on the table now so go and grab it.

Dont worry about honda and hero spat their agreement is valid for three more years.

Hunk is having honda engine and you know any bike engine wont give much trouble.

Its the spare and few cosmetic stuffs may cause much trouble and that too depends on how you handle.

And their are suitable alternate sparer are there in market always.

Sorry, If I sounded like that.. I was only trying to explain him that better top end is not about top speed. I don't have any complaints on how it looks.. even P135LS looks similar at first sight.. it's only that post 80kmph mark you can't enjoy ride anymore.

have you ridden hunk to its top speed?
Now.. see you are saying post 70kmph itself.. so you must thank me for saying 80kmph you mean Apache & Pulsar despite producing power in excess of 15ps are slower than Hunk to 100kmph mark? It's not about top speed, but the way it goes to top speed.. that's the reason why you like R15 a lot as soon as you ride it. I feel 150cc's GS150R has a pretty good top end.. may be due to 6th cog.

i agree there are some vibrations not so much as in apache or pulsar. It's slight tingling feel in handlebras, but vibrations doesn't mean engine is stressed that's what im trying to imply. In my bike vibrations creeped in after a major accident .If you ride all the 150's to their top speed, you would understand me.So you say apache can't be enjoyed because of vibrations?.I agree apache's can blow all the 150's to dust.Apache is 160cc.Pulsar i haven't rode the latest one.Acceleration is good and i said i only feel.I said all these because you said "on the contrary Hunk will cry it's lungs out once you are past 80kmph" and because there are many misconceptions about hunk among people.
i still dont understand the phrase "way it reaches the top speed".Hve you ridden hunk to its potential?

No, I haven't ridden a Hunk to it's top speed.. but I did so with Pulsar, Unicorn.. let me tell you Pulsar doesn't vibrate at all.. it's rock solid even at 100+ speeds.. and the latest P150 is right there with Apache coz it produces 15ps as well. You will understand the phrase"way it reaches the top speed" once you ride R15/P135LS.. coz.. both of them are 4-valvers... by the way by mentioning R15/P135LS.. i'm not trying to imply that they are same.. but they are similar in the way they go to top speed.

my friend has pulsar 180 ug4 and the head light and console area has been shaking from day1,this problem has been many times discussed in pulsar threads. His bike is suffering hard gear shifts too.He is now obsessed with my bike because of smoothness."let me tell you Pulsar doesn't vibrate at all.. it's rock solid even at 100+ speeds" you wouldn't say this if you have read p220 thread.I have ridden all the bikes in 150 class including r15 and no bike is highly stable above 100+ speeds barring R15.TS's budget is only 70k and i don't think moderators would like us discussing about r15.P135 i haven't ridden so i can't give any idea.As far as i know 4 valve engines need to be revved,so it gives us a different feel from our conventional bikes. Please ride the bike and say anything, beeing it good or bad.All said im a fan of pulsar too

Couple of pulsars got that problem doesn't mean each and every Pulsar is vibrating at those speeds.. Most of the cases Pulsar's owner tell the mechanic to loosen the handle a bit so that they can flick it easily(coz Pulsar's front end is a bit heavy).. result.. shaking console.. I know this..coz, my cousin's bike had same problem.. we got it rectified in the service centre.. so I can tell you confidently that Pulsar doesn't vibrate at all at 100+ speeds.. Get your friend to talk to the svc guy.. or drop a mail to bajaj service.. I'm sure it's not a problem that can't be rectified.. it's a simple issue.

you yourself admitted couple of pulsars have the problem.Loosening of forks only would make the handlebars sway lightly not vibrate.I prefer loose forks rather than tight one and i have been running with it for many kms without much vibrations.I ve already told you my bike started vibrating after a major accident,so there is no point in saying all HUNK's would vibrate.Im very much sure all the 150's atleast vibrate a bit above 100.Finally I would say i prefer honda for smoothness and bajaj for definitley male characteristics.

ht 5.10, wt 85kg Your weight and height lead me to recommend bikes that're more powerful, but your previous bike was a caliber, so any 150cc is a noticeable upgrade. Don't expect to win any drags though with other 150cc bikers. Your height and weight offering greater wind resistance will let you down.
budget 70k Don't even think about it... try to extend it by 10k
what i want from the bike
1 power RTR, R15, FZ, Pulsar(more or less)

                          5 handling R15, GS150R, FZ, RTR, Dazzler
6 good resale value CBZ & Hunk (Can't say for how long, if you're planning to keep it for more than 5 years... ), Pulsar(somewhat), Unicorn
7 pillion comfort GS150R and Dazzler - Look no further

please help me guys as i m totally confused & i got to get the bike in diwali
                          thanks in advace
                          My Suggestions in BOLD.
The above list has Dazzler and FZ featuring the highest number of times, however if you prioritize your needs you'll arrive at a good choice.

Dazzler (For sheer reliability, comfort and joy of the ride)
                          FZ (Reliable, loaded)
RTR R15 GS150R (Tied at spot three, RTR for Power and looks, R15 for the techno marvel, GS150R for ultimate comfort and mechanical wizardry)
Pulsar Hunk (Fine bikes but not enough for the challenge of the Japs)
                          CBZ (A dying species)

                            Hi Guys,
I need your help in getting some information. I am planning to buy one 150 CC bike
I have shortlisted 2 bikes. Hunk 2010(with rear Brake, and Digi console) & Honda Dazzler.

I have checked with other models as well, i don't like Bajaj, niether TVS. I was very much interested in buying Yamaha FZ, but Pillion seat is the only drawback coz Ladies are not comfortable with it.

i have no issues with the JV rumours between Hero and Honda, but I would really like to know, which will be better in Performance & Milleage, As Dazzler users Claim 60 KMPL and old Hunk User claim 50. Any how i like the Look of Hunk(Personal choice) than Dazzler.
But Seems Dazzler have some changes in the engine specification over Unicorn engine.
both of them are providing the same Stuff like (Rear Disk, Digi Console, tubeless tyre, Maintanance free Battery, Etc)
If mileage and pick up are same in both the bikes, then I'll go with Hunk, else will go with Dazzler.
Has anyone using the New HH Hunk?
Please suggest me, thanks in advance

The Fuel Efficiency of both Dazzler and Hunk are same, around 50 kmpl in city conditions. The feature-set, including the engine are same, except a different state of tuning. Both are able performers in the segment. Because you like Hunk, go for it, and I am sure you will not regret that you did not buy Dazzler.

Hunk and Dazzler and all same except the clothes they wear.
Fuel effecieny wise, performance wise Both are equivalent. So basically there nothing to worry about the Engines and performance if your only options are Hunk and Dazzler.

The only differentiating point is on how looks appeal to you. And major point is who has good service network in your locality.

As Ravi said, you wont regret buying either of them.

hard to choose between such bike

I was reading about vibes on 150cc bike.
Post 100kmph, I belive that all 150cc vibe, Most of them will not feel as you body is already tuned to the vibes why you are gaining the speed.

There are certain vibes that creep in at certain speeds/RPMs and disappear later.

My Xtremes used to vibe at speeds between 75-80kmph on top gear, then they disappear.
