    Got it

    Hi Guys,

Got the bike today. The comfortability is awesome. Smooth Gear changing. One change I noticed is that the Gear 1 is not displayed. It becomes blank and then comes bank. It looks like it is refreshing(Takes a couple of seconds)

Meanwhile, I have not yet received my invoice, owner manual and tool kit. I took the bike around 11 am and they asked me to come at 4 to collect those. I called them at 4.30 and the person said he will ring me back at 6. I called at 6.30 and he said it has not yet arrived from main office and asked to come on Monday and assured me it's delivery..I paid full cash last monday itself and requested the bike to be delivered on friday. Unfortunately, i was not able to pick it up on friday and called and informed I would come on saturday..

I went to the showroom and the black colour bike was the first one(Near the gate on the parking lot). When asked about the bike, he said the bike needs water wash and mine was the first bike. It is extremely shocking to see the new bikes(to be delivered) being parked along with the visitors vehicle..

Seriously, some care needs to be there for the new vehicles. I am sure they would not shift the bikes if rain comes.. I waited for an hour to get the number and plate to be fixed...Anyway, I got the bike delivered around 10.50...

The total customer experience was not up to the mark. But the guy(Abdul) with whom I conversed helped me a lot and answered all my questions. If all the people were like him, the experience would have been really GREAT..

After I rode the vehicle to my home, the quality of the bike exceeded all the above things..The vehicle was very smooth and I felt like in avatar movie when the hero captures on the big dragon( toruk). I mean the compatibility is so suited and I love riding it. I believe that's he reason suzuki is not concentrating well on marketing and customer service??

Coming to the safety front, I am careful not to exceed more than 40-45. The one thing that I feel difficult to control is the gears. In past bikes, I have always ridden in top gear for 40(Avg). However, I am in 6 th gear in 40- 45. I hope certain guyz can understand what I am trying to tell. I agree that we need to use the 6th Gear somewhat on higher speeds ..maybe 60,70 +(I have not checked the user manual)

    I have some clarifications

    1. How to change Economy mode/power mode(I am not really sure of the digital controls)
    2. When I inquired about bike cover, he said the cost is around 250. The thing I noticed is that it is not fully covering it. Can we get customer made covers and If i put a tank cover, it needs to cover the whole side(Is it possible? If yes, what will be the cost ?)
    3. What is the cost of seat cover?

Last but not the least, I really thank you guyz for providing me valuable suggestions and I hope I will receive the same in future...

I am using my old helmet itself and riding safely and wish you guys the same!!

      Congratulations @Clanx
@Clanx - Just a word of caution; the older GS150R had a faulty cylinder & they were being replaced at free of cost by Suzuki A.S.S here in Chennai for couple of guys. They were also told about the manufacturing defect on the cylinder.

Incase, you're losing compression or having drop in performance after a while, but within warranty, then you're assured of the above problem.

However, Suzuki India should've hopefully addressed this issue in the newer lot of GS150R.

Congratulations once again & enjoy your ride.

Gs may be bad to your physique and driving style.

But its the best for me and for many.

If you like grapes recommend it to others, but dont say banana is bad.

Just because you went to market to buy bananas without looking at
anything else and realized your folly for not looking at the nearby items
dont name others as SOUR GRAPES.
It must have made you feel like the jackal in the story
"The Jackal and the SOUR grapes".

Everyone should test drive all the vehicles they have in mind before
sticking with one and my review about the bike GS150R is that
city handling compared to unicorn or pulsars in the city traffic is SAD.

A normal person can understand what I said earlier.

I never said dazzler or any other bike as bad.
What you said was your own openion where as truth is deferent.
All are good bikes only even though they all belong to same 150cc category, each bike has its unique character advantage and disadvantage in your care dazzler matches your requirement and for me its gs. You can recommend dazzler or gs or whatever it is but you should not promote a bike by giving fake info on other bikes and telling it as bad.

Purpose of this thread is already served as the starter already bought his gs150r.
