  • My Second Bike

    Wazzup xBhp Bikers,

Well I am going to buy my second bike not for me but for my brother but we both will use it :P

I have a HH Hunk Ltd. Edn (March 2009) and I am very well satisfied with it.
For instance I tried many bikes but none seem to match my HUNK.

I tried, CB Pulsar 150, Pulsar 135, Splendour NXG, CB Twister, Rx100, Unicorn.

Now the problem is this I want a good bike but confused,

    Details:

    Height : 6'1"
    Weight : 72
    Budget : Around 1 Lac INR (+/- 10K INR)

Bike will be only used for college going purpose, no trips, no stunts, no nothing.

    Pure Riding to college.

    Options:

    1. New Hunk.
    2. New Fazer Midnight Edition
    3. New Apache Hyper Edge
    4. New R15 Limited Edition
    5. New Pulsar 220S

So people drive your horses and help me please.
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

    My Stable:
2009 & Present: HH Hunk Limited Edition [Red Striker]
2011 & Present: Honda CBR 250R [Black Blade]

My vote goes to the r15 bcoz...
      -its a great looker
      -awesome performer
      -yamaha reliability
      -decent mileage

In your budget you could also consider Karizma ZMR....

go for a r15 dude, regarding the white edition the production is stopped as i had booked one but then company fellows told the only possibility is in march so i went ahead and bought a blue one, even the new blue is a head turner

among your choices, R15 is best..& from my personal experience i'll suggest you not to go for special edition as it might look different from others but its really hard to search body parts in case you want to replace any part..

as per your height & weight i think you should TD ZMR as well & decide accordingly..

                  Its R15...

                  D.I.Y-RTR180 brake fluid replacing/brake bleeding

My vote would go for the R15 as well cos that bike is a class apart from the rest on our roads but eh you run the risk of simply ignoring your first bike.. I used to have a Brand New Electra Twinspark and a FZ and always considered the FZ as my first bike, but since the time i got frustrated with that Bullet Electra UCE and got the R15 the poor FZ has taken a back seat and I have no enthuiasm to ride it anymore.. The R15 has become the steed no1 in fact I don't see the necessity of having two bikes any more and am really pushing the GF to take up biking so she can use my ol baby FZ and the FZ gets used enough.

                        xBhp FTW!!!!

                        I love xBhp :P

Well I didnt list Karizma as every where the minimum waiting time is almost 6 months.

I am from Mumbai and I have contacted almost all of the HH Bigges here but all are saying the same thing man

Personally even I wanted ZMR as R15 would be a bit short If I am not wrong, R15's height is very LOW compared to HUNK and ZMR, The height and ground clearance of HUNK is the best as of now!!

So guys if anyone from Mumbai can help me get ZMR by Gudi Padwa next year it would be very kind else I will have to go with R15 Black one

I still have to talk to Creative HH @ Andheri hope so they say what I want to hear. I will still look for other options as well as DAD has declined to buy the bike this year, Gudi Padwa is auspiscious enough (BTW I got my HUNK too on day of Gudi Padwa in 2009 :P )
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

I think you should take a test ride of Pulsar 220F or P220S. It's a great bike with awesome power and because you won't be ripping the bike, you won't face any issues.
