  • 150cc (or >) bike for college student

I'm a college fresher, looking for a 150 cc (or above) bike. I've looked over many reviews, but am unable to decide a bike.

    Am 5'10" and well-built.

    Important: Appearance, comfort in riding.

Not so important: Performance(since I'll be using it mostly in city traffic)

Budget is adjustable (say, under 90k). Since it will be my long term bike, I don't mind splurging a bit.

go for fz-s if mileage is not a constraint.....if u need mileage too then...dazzler or hunk will do...all these three bikes have good riding posture....

        Hi sumeshpremraj. Welcome to xbhp..
Since your requirements are mostly city riding and comfort,
1.FZ series will suit best for you. Has stunning looks and easy handling But you have to compromise on mileage.
2.Dazzler is the next option if you like its looks. Similar performance as FZ with more mileage , less weight , dual discs and its a HONDA engine.

              hi,

If you can live with an FE of 35-45kmpl, then FZ/FZ-S is a good option. good looks, handling and low end torque and awesome acceleration till 85 kmph. Also not that expensive to maintain besides the regular servicing.

However, for better FE (assuming parent's pocket money restrictions per week !!) Honda Dazzler is the better option. good straight line acceleration and legendary honda engine smoothness.

till 90k you can also look into ZMAs, really good touring bike. But do inquire about spare parts and stuff coz it is expensive and bit of a problem to find even in svcs. zma owners in this forum can throw a better light on this.

              cheers

FZ/Fazer going by your requirements (looks, comfort, city riding, performance not a concern, no word about mileage)

Thanks for all the replies, guys.

Mileage is not really a concern for me, since a) I'm putting down 85k on a bike, it shouldn't be the issue, and b)I will be using it for only a few hundred kms per month.

I earn decent money myself online, so there are no pocket money-restrictions, really

I didn't like the looks of Hunk, Dazzler etc. Of all options suggested, I liked Fazer the most.

IMHO the karizma suits u better than Fazer because of a better capacity engine
