@Rune : What will be the effect of 4 valve in a bike ? I don’t know valve concept in bike.
1: 4 Valve gives better fuel efficiency

2: 4 valve engines are a little bit more refined

3: If you buy a bike, and a new model comes out 4 months later, wouldnt you feel bad?

      this is what i get

splendor mode (upto 75kmph with slow acceleration ) 50-55
normal trash mode (upto 90kmph with not exactly racing mode accelration but definitely not slow acceleration) 45-50

mostly on a mix of city roads and highways.

        Sorry for late reply...

@eliksir: Boss!! Are you putting some Alien element in your bike?
        FZ and 50-55???
You seriously ride your bike for this mileage I mean do you really ride for this mileage, unbelievable.

I took test ride for FZ-S, I feel less power after 60. Bike refuses to go beyond (Not likely but it irritate you for gaining speed ). May be this is their test bike (Also rear tire had less air with pillon ).When I was coming from test ride I was riding my friend FZ-16 with him. Suddenly a splendor guy came and took over us(At 60-70). I tried to take over him and I did but really, I feel less power, FZ-16 took more time to gain more speed in terms of pickup and acceleration .

Today I will go for pulsar 180 for test ride and will ride first time pulsar 180 .

        Your suggestions are welcome.

        Regards,
        Suhail

those were the figures i used to get during the run-in
after the first service it has been the light trash mode and whenever i checked i've got something like 45 or 48.
I drive solo all the time and most of the time on emtpy roads. Thats the only reason i guess i'm getting these figures. Anyways don't go just by my figures. Almost everyone gets 5-10 kmpl less than me.

Finally took the test ride of pulsar 180. Pick up is very good as compare to FZ. Now totally confuse which to take . Have to decide next week and this will be my first bike of my own money . Guys if I will do regular servicing of Pulsar, will it be sufficient for long lasting of my bike (Apart from major issue) or it will required extra attention. I have no experience in maintaining a bike. Otherwise I will go for Yamaha FZ as it require less attention (As people says ).
