Ride quality, Comfort and Handling- Sz-X/R
Performance, VFM, equipment levels and looks- Pulsar 135
Reliability, fuel efficiency, and refinement- CB Twister

I gun the throttle, the motorbike wails, the forks heave up, the revs climb, my view blurs, air gushes in my lid, muscles tighten, street lights streak. Just another day at work...

          Based on what?

@topic starter: I'd pick P135 out of these. You'll love the acceleration. Very good VFM package with looks, mileage, goodies, best in class Power to weight ratio(13.5 bhp with 120KG) and very good handling too.

It is capable to take out most of the 150cc's around on the performance front.

Yamaha SZX will suit you if you drive too lazy & comfort is your preference over fun. You'll find this one boring.

Twister too is a good bike but it is sort of kids bike, too short and skinny. good performer for a 110cc though

Best thing would be to go out test ride each of them and decide.

Out of the three, P135 would be the best deal..

Have you considered the Yamaha SS125 though? That's a good bike too..

Pulsar 135 all the way. has sporty design and good mileage. Haven't heard too many issues with it either. (its been around for only a year or so).

SZ-X/Twister vs the 135 is a very contrasting choice.135 is supposed to be a sporty machine whereas the others are more of the "Mileage Commuter".So based on your needs the 135 is the way to go,i believe its gives a reasonable mileage too,not sure though.

For highway usage the SZ will give the best grunt out of the three. And a reliable and durable engine to book. The Twister will feel slightly out of grunt at the top end, though it handles really well.

Not a fan of the pulsars, due durability and longevity of the vehicles not a strong point.

you are kidding, right? SZ on highway? no way..

P135LS all the way.. it's got superb handling.. smooth high revving engine, which is a pleasure.. gives decent mileage at 55+ kmpl.. and top end rush that P135 gives the other two can't even come close.. even some of the 150cc machines are not up to the mark when you compare them with P135LS on performance front!!

so my vote would be for P135LS.. but if you can compromise on that rare highway trip then you can settle for SZ-R..not SZ-X.. coz it doesn't come with a disc brake as far as I know.. and it would be zippy enough for city rides. Think of Twister only if mileage is your main consideration, which should be with petrol prices showing no signs of coming down

i also have the same view regarding pulsars as my dad is not interested in it.And from a yamaha sz owner heard about the fuel average of only 46,thats very less for me i need a minimum average of above 50.
