go for pulsar 135 ls
well 15 days ago i was also confused between these 3
did a lot of research and ended up buying pulsar 135 ls
you can see my thread at
Well i gone for pulsar as it has the best power between all three
it has 13.5 bhp while szx or szr has only 12.1 bhp
its mileage as per my experiace is 60+ while szx is giving 45-50
looks wise too i found pulsar better ( although szr's petrol tank is awsome )
Twister was my 3rd choice as i was not comfortable paying 56000 for a 110 cc bike which has only 4 gears and a really thin rear tyre..( although tubeless )
see what suits u the best ..
good luck

Are you serious?Originally posted by jd666 View PostFor highway usage the SZ will give the best grunt out of the three. And a reliable and durable engine to book. The Twister will feel slightly out of grunt at the top end, though it handles really well.
lol P135 is capable of taking out P150(UG4) and many other 150's on top end. It is almost a second quicker to 100 than FZ/Fazer and got better top speed (4-5 km's maybe). Do you really think SZ with whole 2 bhp less can produce better grunt? no offence mate but you need to go through some automotive magazines.
Just complete run-in properly and give regular servicing and no bike will give you any problem. On the other hand I've seen FZ getting seized in run-in period because of a careless owner.Originally posted by muditroxx View PostIs bajaj as reliable as a Honda or a Yamaha?

bro .. the pulsar 135 is a good bike.. but the newly launched Yamaha Sz-R a great bike... it has all the features like a solid 153 cc engine, sporty looks, disc brakes, good fuel avrg and a very comfortable ride style too.
i have used the sz-x on highways and have seen the bike doing 110-120 KMPH speeds which i think is more than anyone would be able to ride on our country's highways.. so the doubt of performance or top speed is clear.
My friend's sz-x gives avrg of 54 kmpl overall and the spares are pretty reasonably priced too...
My Vote strongly is to the SZ series of YAMAHA.
cheers and happy riding

+1 Short and simple. If you are level headed, set your priority and go for it accordingly. Else go for the 135 LS. I wouldn't care less for that small extra power, though its a looker, and I got this weakness for looks..be it machine or womenOriginally posted by Wheeli Junkie View PostRide quality, Comfort and Handling- Sz-X/R
Performance, VFM, equipment levels and looks- Pulsar 135

Good joke there!! LOL.. are you serious bro.. agreed SZ is a great bike.. but can't imagine it doing 110-120kmph.. that can't be true given the power of bike. To put it in perspective.. Karizma's top speed is 125kmph.. P150/RTR160 refuse to show much juice around 120kmph mark..Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

guys yamaha sz r is low in performance but i liked its silence and refinement in engine.i m still confused between sz r and a pulsar.pulsar is attracting me with all the goodies it has ,but maintainence part of pulsar is letting me think over and over again as i have seen many complaints in new branded pulsar 135 like noise from rear ,faulty meter, vibrations after 60.i am not much interested in top speed part it should be just a good cruiser in the 80 to 90 speed range. The yamaha are not giving any goodies like digi console, pass switch, engine kill switch etc in 60333 but in pulsar i m getting more power and all these features. so guys help me

Hey buddy.. don't call them vibrations.. it's called resonance frequency.. every machine has it.. you can observe that even on R15.. on my P135 it was between 6-6.5k rpm.. but later reduced to a great extent after the second service. Engine is smooth & high revving once you cross 6k rpm and very responsive. This is where most of the 2-valve engines give up.. or start feeling tired as soon as they hit 7k rpm mark. SZ-R is smooth & adequate for city riding.. take it out of the city on to open highway.. it feels left out, but not P135LS and icing on the cake is despite the performance it manages to return you 55+ kmpl.. which is amazing.. truly best of both worlds.Originally posted by muditroxx View Postguys yamaha sz r is low in performance but i liked its silence and refinement in engine.i m still confused between sz r and a pulsar.pulsar is attracting me with all the goodies it has ,but maintainence part of pulsar is letting me think over and over again as i have seen many complaints in new branded pulsar 135 like noise from rear ,faulty meter, vibrations after 60.i am not much interested in top speed part it should be just a good cruiser in the 80 to 90 speed range. The yamaha are not giving any goodies like digi console, pass switch, engine kill switch etc in 60333 but in pulsar i m getting more power and all these features. so guys help me
Yup.. noise from rear suspension was there in first batch of P135's but I guess all of them were fixed under warranty itself!! even mine was fixed under warranty

46!
I've done 8.5k kms on my P135 and it is giving me a milage around 56-58 constantly.

Hey you are just 19, and you are thinking like 30s.Originally posted by muditroxx View Posti am 5ft 8 in and 19 years old who wants a bike with sporty design with good mileage and less maintainence.Upon the factors i have zeroed in on Bajaj pulsar 135,honda twister, yamaha szx/r.the bike will do occasional highway trips but maximum city riding.so it should be a good handler in traffic and should be within 60 k .please suggest
The P135ls is a VFM, surely have looks and power, and the tag of pulsar.
The bike is good enough in the city as well as on the highways.
and the only thing is that you have to lil bit extra careful on your bike so that bike last long and gives you good mileage throughout.Pick up a ride and rewrite yourself to a new Identity.....
