I would like to thank everyone, you people helped me lot to arrive this position.

I have done test drive with following bikes and my comments

1) Dazzler ( Honda dealer in Velachery to Guindy main road)
Pros
- I like the riding position.
- Quick response.
- No engine Noise.
- Nice/easy gear shift.
- Nice/good suspension.
- Nice front/rear breaking with disk break.

Cons
- I am not happy with looks.
- There is no feeling like i am riding 150 segment bike. i got same feeling as my discover 125.
- I have tried to change the gear to neutral. But i have done after 2 or 3 times try. I am not sure this will be a problem. this may be issue with that demo bike.
- After 30K/40k KM ride this bike may produce noise (Not from the engine) This is my view, i got when i did test drive.
- Very small digital display, i am sure we can't see any info during day time. My personal comment on this is like it is looking like a small digital wrist watch. Honda should think to increase digital display area or drop this digital display.
- No discounts. (i hope they will give some free accessories and insurance after a big bargain)


FZS new edition (Raj Yamaha OMR is the dealer)

- Good performance/response
- Nice gear/shift
- Nice/Good suspension.
- Great look (i got new bike, yellow one)
- Nice front/rear breaking.
- Great display unit. nice one to see. I drove a new bike, so they have disconnected the display.

Cons
- Low Mileage 42-45 city ride (as per sales person comment)
- Riding position. Not like Dazzler. I hope this will not suitable for long drive.
- Kick start. Yamaha introduced this in new edition. but we need to fold foot rest, if we need to do kick start.
- Rear seat position. it's bit high. but it's some what ok to manage.
- Saree Guard may be not that much effective.
- I am not happy with color options FZS 4 colors and FZ16 only with 2 colors red and black.
- No discounts.
- Price Nearly 78K

Hero Honda.
CBZ/Hunk i have tried to test drive this, they said they don't have demo bike. i got this reply from 2 dealers. so i don't want to make a deal with this kind of dealers, since I am doubt about their ASS (After Sales and service).

Bajaj 150
Still I am not saying this is bad one. Its VFM option. since i already own a Discover 125 from bajaj family. I noticed some issues after 40K run, also i just wanted to try other options/make.

Suzuki 150R
Every one says it's good one. But i don't have service station near by. So i didn't even test drive this.

My Pick/Option/Selection
I have concluded with FZ16 red color. I am ready to compromise mileage because my heart says it's OK to have this one, so 99% i will go with my heart is that wrong ? remaining 1% is for Dazzler.

If anyone list some points/things to be noticed during buy, will help me to prepare a check list and make everything going good, and what kind of offers/discounts shall i check/ask with my dealers . Probably i will book by this week.

My bike FZ16 got delivered yesterday(06/30/2011), I would like to thank each and everyone in this post. Since your input helped me lot to select correct one for me. Again thanks much for your effort and inputs. I will share my experience soon.
If you people give suggestions like on raiding what rpm is good for each gear and speed limit and which petrol should i select Like Indian Oil or HP etc. I am currently I am using Indian Oil. Let me know your suggestions on these areas.

Congratulation on FZ 16! Superb bike! Superb handling very good at cornering!

About your concerns, you can post it in FZ16 Ownership thread, the members there are very good and helpful too, they helped me at many occasions even though i own lower sibling FZ / Fazer series that is SZ-R.
