I have ride P135 in busy traffic for a month and touched 110+ in highways as well.Honestly I did not like the P135's cramped sitting posture,no offence..but thats me.Choices differ.I gave my personal opinion and was not kidding atall.A durable bike with a smooth and hasslefree engine gives better riding experience on long run.The P135 I was riding was giving a FFE of 52 and a well maintained Unicorn will give similar figures.

    over n out !!!
This is the problem with anyone who likes Unicorn, they want every other bike to be like Unicorn. No doubt, it's a good bike, but it's a boring bike at the same time, no fun at all. If you are used to Unicorn, P135 may feel cramped because it's not as upright as Unicorn (uncle's like sitting position). But at the same time it's seating position is not as sporty as bigger pulsars. Anyway, you should've liked it's sharp handling in traffic!! Also, a well maintained P135 gives you anywhere between 58-62kmpl in city and that goes up a bit on highway.

kidding part was only for handling!! in traffic P135 is way better than any of the 150cc competition (exclude FZ, Apache.. they are right up there in handling or rather P135 is right up there with them in handling).

Didn't quote your comment to prove a point, but it's not that everything is better in Unicorn IMO..personally, I wouldn't choose a bland looking machine over P135LS after paying 10k premium. And that too when there is not much to differentiate them to justify the premium.

      @ TS
I sincerely believe that the best feedback on P135 will be given by its owners. My odo reads over 11k kms.
For me it's very comfortable now, after the initial 2,3k kms I got used to.
Handling is just easy,I like the sporty seating position.
I saw some people saying about touring, well I went on a small trip of about 200kms today. on highway I was cruising @ 90s continuously and going over 100 once in while for more than 80kms up and down (40 at a stretch). Mind you I was carrying a 80kg pillion and it had no stress on me or on the bike.

Vibes at high speeds would definitely not allow you to cruise @ 70-80 kph. For the kind of money you pay, you just get a better looking 125 cc bike, nothing more. I have also discussed the quality of stunner' s switches needing generous sprays of WD40 frequently every monsoon. Even the self start switch got jammed with every start.(seen the same problem on my friends unicorn). My bike fell twice wile stationary in my parking and both times had to replace handle bar. Moreover the stunners gearing is too short to make it a good ride in city imo.

Pulsar 135 on the other hand gives a better quality of fitting plastics and switches which still work even after almost a year. excellent vfm. Dc setup, gas shock absorbers, cheap and easily available spares.

Just ride both for a day or a few hours and see how you feel.
+1 to that. and it almost felt like i am writing my experience with Stunner.

I used to think that the Stunner I drove had a problem with falling down.
Out of no reasons I used to find the stunner lying on the ground. Seriously the amount we have to pay for a Stunner is something that can be bothering if you consider bikes of similar price range.

hey after reading this thread from the page 1 , i would like to share my Experience i had with my Honda stunner.

            1) This bike is good enough only for a city ride.
            2) Vibrates a lot @ speed 50 kmph +...
            3) Millage is around 45-55 kmpl.
            4) Seating Position is good enough for long rides.
            5) Parts Availbilty is a problem with Honda Bikes.
            6) Vibration last till 70kmph + speed where after the bike struggles to overtake.
            7) Gear Box is simply amazing...hardly needs any efforts to change the GEARS.
            8) Initail pickup is good comparing other 125cc bikes.
            9) Pricing Is on Higher SIde..NO VFM Product.
            10) you can also consider Yamaha SZ series.
            11) I would Not recommend this bike to anyone considering ONLY to price point...else bike is good.

i own cbz xtreme but i will have to say one thing p135ls is a superb bike.

it has got great handling & decent pickup any where in the rpm range.
it would be a better decision to go for p135ls rather than stunner.

i passed 5days with p135ls. gave me a fuel efficiency of 55-65km/l depending on the riding condition.....top speed i achieved was 117km/h.....

Stunner has lots of vibration & head lamp is useless in curvy roads
P135 seats are like stone...not at all comfortable ride, quality of materials put r below average.

Neither of the above bikes r good. Forget about touring on them pls dont waste ur money on these bikes.

You can opt for Yamaha SZ-R/SZ-X, good on both city & highways. Mileage could be less as this is same that of FZ engine.

if u can stretch a bit then go for GS150 which has 6th gear advantage perfect for city as well as highway, very good mileage

                  reg,
