Hey guys got to know the new feature the dual mode of speedo i.e IF the bike is in Eco mode the speed will be locked at 60

The second mode i.e Power Mode will unleash all the 14 horses and the bike will behave as a racing animal

asking for 50+ mileage and all the power for stunts and a budget of 70000. well you have shortlisted your own bike. it has to be p150 or p180.
well considering hunk and cbz extreme for stunts and expecting mileage, no chance.
fz16 is anyways out of your list.
rtr refresh was the best choice but the reasons we all know now.
unicorn is regular commuter bike, expect the mileage but does not look like the performance bike.if modded for performance then economy will take a hit.
lanza(gsr150r) well its from suzuki stable, we have seen heat and zeus performance. putting that extra gear does not make it performance bike.

so considering all the points its either p150 or p180 which will suit the requirements.

Guys all the post are making me more confused

.Well talkd to Yamaha Motors they are giving me 40000rs

for my Zma and I am thinking of buying the FZ16

but still friends are saying I should go for RTR eFi

listen to friends n buy a rtr

its you who will be riding the bike. listen to yourself and decide between rtr and fz . both the bikes are good in their class. and let us know your option.

The Final Verdict

As all you guys know from past one month I am posting threads so that I could get a new bike for me and its a last thread in this series hope Mr.Moderator feel my feelings.
I have sold my three year old KariZma for 33000Rs

without repairing(tank job,sensor,handle bar,shocker bend).And I have no bike now.So will be purchasing on 1st of January

.
Now I had 4 options as listed below:-

1: A New Red FZ16

-Kind of like this bike but it would give 50- average although spares are not an issue.

2:Used Apache RTR eFi-My friend is selling a two month old Apache RTR eFi for 50000Rs

and that too is in mint condition.

3:Used Pulsar 220Dtsfi

: Another Second hand machine for 60000Rs two month old but engine is replaced as last one got siezed.This is one of my doubt although bike is mint condition.

4:Used Comet250

-I liked this bike since I got my Zma as it was stopped.But now getting a used comet for around 50 to 65000

good condition.

This is my sincere request to all you guys please do reply and solve my query.Thanks in advance.

@ saty: If you are thinking of stunting as I can see from the posts here, it is better for you to stay away from a Comet. If you crash, then the bike is gone. You can't get spares here easily for it. So it is a better option to go for another Bike. Well I'm following these threads closely since I want to replace my 6.5 yrs old P180 classic too, which has run about 32,500 kms only. I have a Comet for my weekend rides, but I need something else for my daily use as I don't have proper parking space near my hotel. So the R15 is also ruled out, else I'll have to change the body every month. I test rode both the FZ16 & the RTR EFI, but am really confused as everybody else is. Hope I'll get an answer soon.

used RTR is really a very good option. even 'm looking for a good bike but not been able to decide on one. But as you have a sure shot list of 4 options.. it is very easy if you are clear on what you want. of course expecting 50+ from a bike meant for stunts

i don't understand. but as you said the bike belongs to your friend and if you are aware of whatever short history of the bike under your friend's usage i don't see any other better option.

a seized bike at 65k (even with replaced engine) a no no and IMO dtsfi belongs to complete different creed not for stunts as you've described (prone to frequent crashes).

can't comment on comet though.

i feel the rtr is THE BEST choice for you at the price

but still 'm not able to decide on my steed yet

so again we come back to from where we went.Now there are three options used RTR Efi , New Fz16 and new Apache RTR Efi.
Please guys make it quick as I want a bike desperately and you all guys can help me out.

Saty, If you are getting the used Efi apache rtr for 50k and you are sure thats in decent shape( friends bike na? so you must be knowing!), I would say go for it! Its the best option for you esp since you are into stunting, tvs spare parts are durable and cost effective. Yammie spare parts are sure to be costly!
