    people, what should i do??

would want to go for either r15 v2.0 or the new p220s(the 220 with 200 styling)

but dont know whether either of them will suit my physique

    So, what should i do.

Could go for cruisers or re, but as i said, not a big fan of cruising.
dont dislike it, but dont have that much time too

    might go once a month

and daily driving would be 40-50 kms minimum

so which of r15 v2.0 or p220s would be better for me??

if the answer is neither, then will have to look into different breeds or differernt bikes altogether, but a good suggestion is always welcome.

PS- i have given my criteria for better in the opening message itself.

Is it? Can you share in what all aspects you've seen a negative aspects that are positive on other rides?

Aargee, i know you have a CBR250R and that you have had your engine replaced(which took a long time to fix), and i dont exactly remember, but you had some other problem in your bike which also dragged for some time.

I am from the enighbouring city where amlan lives(or so to say lived) and where prabhu lives

In my city the level of the servicing center's employees are limited and in situations like yours, i dont think they will be able to fix it within a month even.

I personally like the cbr better than all the bikes that i have written here
and i know that it will be the best bike for my needs.

but i dont think that i am willing to pay 1.8l for a bike which has issues with it.

I know that i might get a good piece which doesnt give troubles at all(like YoungKing)

but many people are facing troubles

and to be honest, when i am going to finance the bike and give all of my savings also, i need to make a very sensible choice.

But i have not gone through the complete ownership experiences thread for cbr 250r

i have gone through the first 260-270 pages

        couldnt go on after that.

But if you can give me proofs or point me to the place where i can know that the bike has gotten better with honda rectifying its mistakes, then CBR will be my only choice.

          have a nice riding stance
should give a good overall riding experience
          give a decent economy(30-50)
should not cause much pain while riding(riding posture should be good)

          should not require frequent maintenance
i dont care about the pillion(they can feel whatever they want)
mostly city riding and not much touring
daily riding will be a minimum of 40-kms
          Lot's of coincidences ...

I too had a unicorn for 3 years and about 54k kms.
I weigh 120 odd kgs and am 5'10" and found the R15 to be too small for me.
I travel 86kms daily to and from office.
Have done 26k kms in the 11 months that I've had my bike with no issues including a solo trip to Kerala and back.
And lastly, it's returning a mileage of around 33-37 with pillion.

Oh, forgot to mention... I have a pulsar 220.

nice, can you tell me how will the new p220s be, because, i dont like the p220fi's fairing...

and just to put things into perspective, your height or your weight, what made the r15 look small?

Aargee, i would really like your view on this matter, because you have had the cbr since its launch and u must be knowing what's up with the bike's overall refinement as of now.

So, your views on the bike and my situation would help me in making up my mind and taking a decision.

Either the R15 or CBR will suit for needs, I am just under 6ft and carrying a little extra holiday weight, I ride an R15, the posture is great once you learn the basics, keep your back slightly arched, be loose on the bars, a tight grip will make you arms and wrists pain/numb a loose grip will make the bike do what you want it to, check out twist of the wrist. The R15 is fairly underpowered in stock form, so bear this in mind when making your decision, best to take a good long test ride on both and get a feel of which will suit you most, forget the local bikes like bajaj, herohonda and tvs, they are still way behind and apart from bajaj the other two look like they will be static for a very long time.

Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

In cruisers, I would suggest you to consider RE. You might have to choose one within RE, which is only after you decide on cruiser.

In sports category, there is quite a nice list of options. R15 would definitely look small for you and looks like you are not happy for CBR250. I see that you have been riding for quite some years. Why don't you seriously consider upgrading to N650? You get loans for N650 too

Hi guys .. merging my Question in What Bike Thread.

I have been rinding Pulsar UG1 180cc & now i plann to upgrade my CC,

Have Bullet STD 350 in mind, will this is good option to choose from, as my thirst also lingers with 500CC as well, Should i go an refurbished bike rather than new one, as i plan to spend equal on new or old, to keep it running smooth.

So, the main Question, will it be a wise choice to switch to RE, from Pulsar 180 as will be keeping till the time bike make me happy...

pssstt... i Have ridin once a Bullet 350, which has gears on left & rear break on right only once.
                      sigpic
                      Godz Bless US ALL !!
                      Ridez Safez !!

                      3rd bike - Bajaj Pulsar - 180CC Black n Silver UG1 (Riding)
2nd bike - Bajaj Boxer - 100CC red color (Sold)
1st Bike - Hero Ranger - (Gearless) - Human Power (Lost)

Remember, you could be doing 30 km/h but the guy who comes and crashes into you could be doing 90-100 km/h.

Why you want to change Unicorn

As you ride unicorn for 7 years then as per as my opinion is concern then buy a CB Unicorn once again. And moreover before selecting a new byke, ask yourself some questions; They are

                        1) Are you want a byke with monocross suspension?
                        2) Are smoothness is really a concern for you?
                        3) And what is your Price range (This is an important concern)?

And lastly you can test ride Yamaha FZS or FZ16.
