    He has come down by a couple of thousands from 50, as it does not have insurance as of now.
    and donno much about the shortcomings of the FZ16 cause didnt rode the bike till now ...anyways the common problems seems to the horn and the seat..
    seat is very small[pillion] and the horn is not upto the mark and fluctuating mileage ..as far as i remember i heard in some forum mileage varying from 5-55 kmpl
    and yeah i like the fatso rear tyre and yeah there is no crash gaurd in the bike it may also considered as one of the shortcomings

      and yeah when i saw the bike yesterday with its headlight on i thought it was MT01 really..was really shocked ...then when i saw it was FZ16....then came to my present normal situation..

        Few more queries on FZ for any owner/well informed person:
        Weak horn: can it be upgraded?
        Crash guard: can it be fit in the bike?
        Handle: can it be upgraded to a better handle?
        Seat: I am sure, can't be extended ...
        Headlight: I am sure it is really good .. I guess I remember someone posting the weak headlight in it?

        If these things can be sorted out in a money efficient way :P (say in 5k), I can surely go ahead with the booking of this bike

          dude the horn can be changed..and you can install HID on it and i think the handlebar can be replaced by two piece handlebar [like in apache rtr] donno about the crash guard ......i really dont like the rear light of the bike looks like the rear light of a moped

              also heard in fz thread about bad quality of paint in wheel rims .
              also see whether console is visible in bright sublight or not.

              horn is easily upgradeable but handlebars r gonna cost u a bit

                Yes you can replace the horn
                Yes you can fit a crash gaurd
                Handle, i think you will have a problem here as the front forks are bigger that any normal bike in india. you will have problem fitting 2piece handle bars, my reco go for 3 piece.
                Seats < you know the answer
                Headlight: i really dont like any of the new bike's headlights < actually i dont like the bulbs they come fitted with
                mostly lights spread across the road thats good but there isn't any intensity in it.
                the only headlight i like is a Bullet completely sealed ones which i fitted on my pulsar classic 180
                & offcourse there is HID

                If its new bike you buying the electrical changing of your horn & headlight will cost you your bikes warranty.
                you can go for handle bars which will be in range from 500rs - 2000rs or more.

                  The bad quality of paint on wheels is also an issue with the r15

                  as far as i know i have heard the console is visible in daylight

                    Then FZ cancel .. will check GS150R before going for a RTR Carb -- destined for me .
