      buying expereince

i called the owner at 8.30 and asked is he free? he said ok..i called up my freind..he said i'm ok to come with u..it was raining heavily..i got my helmet and hopped to my cbzx..i reached my freind's place at 9.10. had dinner..and we left to zma owner's place..time is 10.10 when we reached there..i checked everything..i paid the cash of 58k and got the key at 10.35...my freind was riding my cbzx and i was in karizma...by that time it was raining heavily..we planned for a short ride..i gave the helmet to him..the short trip became a 100( 50/50) trip..i went all the way from chennai to mahabalipuram
      MY VIEWS are:
      1. ideal is at 1200 rpm,,is this is right setting?
      2. 100 came at 5800 rpm
even though it was raining..there was no road grip..no helmet..i pushed the bike all the way to 110...there is no stress at those speeds.
      1. rear brakes are good..but lacks bite
      2. front discs are good.
      3. headlamp power is below par..my cbzx has better power.
      4. rear tyres are not good..they tend to skid during panic breaking..i think may be due to road grip
      5. horn is useless.

any recommendation for headlamps and tyres and horn upgrades?

Everything sounds good, including the bikes condition..
The only concern you have to think about the helmet-less part at speeds upto 110.. Bad combination mate.. Be careful.!! Try and wear atleast a helmet..

Welcome to karizma club..Headlight.... go for Philips Extreme Vision 50/60 watts.Tires you can try Michelin 4.00 /18 and get it fitted properly ,otherwise it will hit the chain guard or rear brake stay. You have many other options..
Doing 110 kph in rain without Helmet is not good for you..
            Never ride without helmet.

                    speed

i've parked the bike after ripping it from porur toll gate to tambaram on chennai by pass road
100 is like eating a piece of cake..
                    120 is ok..
                    130 is strained...
they bike gave up at 137 on speedo...
really fast by indian road standards...
where i can get philiphs extreme power headlight 55/60w?

M45 is a good tire,Its rare to find now, search for it. Then Pirelli SD 110/90-18,best for roads in wet and dry, will wear out at 15000kms.

You can try Philips Premium 55/60W bulb first, less than 80rs and will serve very well. Yellow light is always better than whiter ones.

                          race with zmr

                          MY RACE WITH ZMR:
sunday was boring..i thought of taking my zma for a spin..,my dad and dad decide to go for a temple
..usually he would take his alto..suddenly he said i would take the zma.he is used to riding bullets in his old days.
he is 55 now..he prefers cars now..i was upset as he took the zma..i watched some tv programs..but it was boring.
then i decide to fit my k&n in my cbzx..as i had used the k&n some 7 months ago..i fitted the k&n and took the bike
to nh45 bye pass..after riding 15 kms and 50 mins of hardwork..i found the correct airscrew adjustment.while come back iwas doing at 90kmph,,
suddenly two guys on their zmr overtook me...i deciede try cbzx power with zmr..i overtook him at 100 and again he overtook me.
then we have to stop..as there was huge truck turning from right to left..the truck had ford fiesta cars in it..as the road got clear..we dragged the bikes.
at first zmr just flew away..the gap is nearly length of 8 bikes..
i revered upto 9500rpm in each gear..i was closing on the zmr slowly..at end i was able to do 122kmph with no more juice left.
the gap is only a length of 2 bikes at last..the zmr was breathing heavily...i was doing at 122..the zmr might have done a top speed of 125..
                          my question is:
is this is the real performance of zmr or the rider didn't know how to ride? if was riding in my zma.i would have easily smoked the zmr.

Nope. Zmr could easily smoke you. It can do a true speed of 127 KMPH. Meaning in most bike at that speed, speedo would be indicating anything between 130-140. So at 122, you were probably doing something like 115 true speed. Most probably the Zmr guy was being cautious or playing with you.
