      zmrrr

Nope. Zmr could easily smoke you. It can do a true speed of 127 KMPH. Meaning in most bike at that speed, speedo would be indicating anything between 130-140. So at 122, you were probably doing something like 115 true speed. Most probably the Zmr guy was being cautious or playing with you.

      are u zmr owner?

sunday was boring..i thought of taking my zma for a spin..,my dad and dad decide to go for a temple
..usually he would take his alto..suddenly he said i would take the zma.he is used to riding bullets in his old days.
he is 55 now..he prefers cars now..i was upset as he took the zma..i watched some tv programs..but it was boring.
then i decide to fit my k&n in my cbzx..as i had used the k&n some 7 months ago..i fitted the k&n and took the bike
to nh45 bye pass..after riding 15 kms and 50 mins of hardwork..i found the correct airscrew adjustment.while come back iwas doing at 90kmph,,
suddenly two guys on their zmr overtook me...i deciede try cbzx power with zmr..i overtook him at 100 and again he overtook me.
then we have to stop..as there was huge truck turning from right to left..the truck had ford fiesta cars in it..as the road got clear..we dragged the bikes.
at first zmr just flew away..the gap is nearly length of 8 bikes..
i revered upto 9500rpm in each gear..i was closing on the zmr slowly..at end i was able to do 122kmph with no more juice left.
the gap is only a length of 2 bikes at last..the zmr was breathing heavily...i was doing at 122..the zmr might have done a top speed of 125..
        my question is:
is this is the real performance of zmr or the rider didn't know how to ride? if was riding in my zma.i would have easily smoked the zmr.
        Similar experience!
On a 6 lanes road, me on my Karizma R, overtook the ZMR guy everytime(some 7 times) when my speedo was at 133-135kph and
finally he got frustrated and started to block my lane when I was coming to overtake him at such speeds..

          another proof

here comes another proof....i'm sure that my cbz can reach above 120..becuase i have dragged this cbz with p150 ug4, and rtr 160 and also with unicorn...i'm sure zmr has less acceleration...my bike had done 28,000kms..chain sprocket need to to repaired and also valve adjustment has to be done..if it was in good health, surely it can be head to head with zmr...its my bad luck..i didn't have the zma with me..the reason is zmr weighs more and power to weight reduces acceleration,,CORRECT ME IF I"M WRONG

No, I own Zma-R. Maybe Zma can out accelerate Zmr due to weight advantage, but this is theoretical. Though Zmr has slight advantage in top speed. But such small difference could be easily offset by the rider or the condition of the bike.

Though keep in mind, racing some average guy on the road does not prove anything about a bike's capability, it merely means the rider is probably not an exert. Slight mistake in changing gears or not changing at the right rpm could play a very important role in the outcome. Also, rider weight could easily offset any power weight advantage in our small bikes.

I've done around 125 on the speedo quiet frequently without much effort on my bike, I could push further easily if I wanted but I'm no speed freak so I don't see the need to push or prove anything. I just did it because the road was empty. However its important to note thats not true speed, merely speedo indicated speed.

              HEY...
My query was are u a zmr owner? I thought u have a zmr..i thought of getting more info on this bike..as they have fi..real performance fugures can be acquired from owners..

Thanks for the riding lessons..even i know the top speed depends on weight of rider, gear shifts, and so many factors...

Everyone knows what is the top speed of zma..the talk is about zmr here..

The same reason hold s for me..open roads..friendly conditions..no undulations...no traffic..bike expensive than mine and also powerful..other rider also willing to race with me..i will be tempted to see what is the capability of the bike..where my bike stands when compared with other bike..what is special about other bike..these are basic instincts of every human. if u find a open road and do 125..u aren't a spead freak...undert this conditions...i'm also not a speed freak

Oh! I have no intention of giving any riding lesson. Merely sharing a little bit of information I believe I have learned since I joined xBhp. But I must admit your post lost me. Btw using "quotes" will help in reading your post .

i don't beleive using quotes..that's why i have used colour differentiation...whenever u have lesiure time,,u can read my reply...i didn't mean to criticize any bike..even i belong to hero family(cbz,zma)..in future i may own a zmr...but i will try to ride the zmr as fast as possible...lol

If you are a speed freak ,these bikes are wrong choice for you Dear...Just go for a 250cc bike(Ninja,CBR) and see what's the real performance...

Anyways it's true that Zmr has only 2-3 kmph top speed advantage over ZMA

Since the post of yours compared speed of different Bikes and you had said you took your CBZ to it's max speed, members assumed you are a speed freak......nothing to be upset, since you know who,and what you are
Regarding an addition to your stable, wait for 2012 launch...Pulsar 220/250 with 4 valves, KTM 200 et., are expected at good pricing...(may be even Suzuki 250).....or make an upgrade to 600cc class with Ninja 650 which is VFM.

i ride very properly in city limits and limit my speed under 60 kmph even if road is empty for a while.... On Open highways I ride between 60-100 depending on road condition...I never race with anyone be it Highway or city..Though i will love to do a planned Drag race in midnight
