    TS.. you could take a look at GS150R, you will get good power/decent looks/mileage will also meet your requirements. I'm not sure how good is Suzuki service/spares availability in your area. Would have gone on and suggested Disco 150/P135LS, but looking at your list it does appear that you don't like Indian brands that much.

    As per your selection, SS125 is a great bike, but I don't think it meets your requirement in mileage. (saying this on hearsay.. generally, I haven't seen SS125 owners giving 50+ numbers on mileage). Other than that it's a great bike.
    Well an SS125 does actually give 55+, you can go to ownership forum and ask any one, or better still ask those who have the bike. Proper maintained bike in any condition of ride gives 50-60kmpl.
    There are no short-cuts to any place worth going. So ride safe when you are treading uncharted roads.
